Acne granules consist of Radix scutellariae, Herba artemisiae scopariae,Radix salviae miltiorrhizae,Radix et rhizoma rhei, Fructus gardeniae,etc.It has a good effect treating acne according to clinical experimentation for many years. The TCM formula is better combining the theory of TCM and the modern research and clinical experience into one.On the premise of reliable effect in clinic, it's pharmaceutics was systematic studied. In this study, extractive conditions were researched by orthogonl design and the best preparation process was determined. And quality standards were established. We also studied the preliminary stability of the granules. This study was setting up the foundation of the new medicine's report to higher body.A study of the best extractive technology was made with orthogonl test. The experimental results showed the best extractive technology was twelve times of water added in quantity, decocted three times, decocted sixty minutes each time. Then extractive liquid was separated, puried, condensed and dried. In forming technology process, certain quantity of Licrozinc and sufficient quantity excipients were added and mixed adqulis granulate drying reshaping divla-dosage pack finished product.In quality standards studies, a qualitative identification of Radix scutellariae, Herba artemisiae scopariae, Radix salviae miltiorrhizae, Radix et rhizoma rhei, Fructus gardeniae and Licrozinc was made with thin lay chromatogram. The experimental results have shown that the TLC spots of every drug were very clear in the preparation and had repeatability;Then we established the content determination method of Baicalin in Radix — principal drug scutellariaeand Licrozinc — chemical extract. And at the same time,a generalcheck-up of acne granules was made in the moisture content,dissolve microorganism limit,The results of general check-up were completely conformed to the demand.The preliminary stability result indicated that charaters, indentification, test, content determination unchanged in three months, it showed that the quality of acne granules was going to be stabilized in two years.This study was setting up pharmaceutical foundation for acne granules applying for new drug of No.6 kind.
