| China is one of the main distribution areas of Gesneriaceae.As of January 2021,there are788 species(including subspecies)belonging to 45 genera,mainly distributed in the south and southwest of China.Due to its special geographical location and complex topography,Guizhou is rich in Gesneriaceae resources.Gesneriaceae have high ornamental value such as diverse plant types,colorful flowers and delicate flower structures in Guizhou,but almost all of them are in wild state and have not been well developed and utilized.In this study,the species diversity and geographical distribution pattern and ornamental value evaluation of wild Gesneriaceae in Guizhou were studied based on the establishment of a list and geographical distribution database of wild Gesneriaceae in Guizhou.Through the literature and a field investigation,a reasonable comprehensive evaluation system was established by using analytic hierarchy process,and Gesneriaceae with ornamental value and strong adaptability were selected by using qualitative and quantitative methods.The species composition,endemism,horizontal distribution,vertical distribution and similarity were analysed.Finally,the hotspots of Gesneriaceae in Guizhou were determined by a complementary algorithm.The main results are as follows:(1)The number of Gesneriaceae is rich in Guizhou,There are 154 species(including subspecies)belonging to 28 genera and 8 subtribes of 2 tribes.There are 128 endemic species in China and 45 endemic species in Guizhou.In terms of the composition of genera and species,the number of seven genera,such as Oreocharis,Primulina,Hemiboea and Petrocosmea,account for74.68% of the total species in Guizhou and single species and few species together account for75% of the total number of genera.In the aspect of life form,perennial herbage was the main type,followed by small shrub or subshrub,and annual herbage was the least.epiphytic type was the main ecological adaptation type,and a few of them were terrestrial type.(2)The floristic components of Gesneriaceae in Guizhou are relatively diverse,and the genera can be divided into 5 distribution types and 2 varieties.The distribution types are mainly tropical and subtropical,supplemented by temperate,with strong tropical and subtropical characteristics.According to the analysis of geographical components of the species,there are three distribution types and two varieties.The distribution of endemic species in China is the main and are with 128 species,which account for 83.12% of the total species.The distribution of tropical Asia and its varieties are the second and are with 23 species,accounting for 14.94% of the total species.The distribution of East Asia is the least and are with only 3 species,which account for 1.95% of the total species.(3)Gesneriaceae are widely distributed in Guizhou,mainly concentrated in Southern Guizhou.At the county level,they are distributed in 75 county-level administrative regions,among which Libo County has the most distribution,with 51 species;in contrast,the distribution range of endemic species is narrow,with 128 / 45 endemic species in China / Guizhou,which are distributed in 37 county-level administrative regions.The hot spots of Gesneriaceae in Guizhou were screened by screening algorithm,and 39 hot spots were obtained,including 100%Gesneriaceae in Guizhou.The vertical distribution showed a unimodal trend,and the number of species reached the peak at 900-1300 m altitude.By calculating the provincial similarity coefficient,it is found that the similarity between Guizhou and Guangxi is the highest.(4)Gesneriaceae,most of which are rich in color and unique in shape,are mainly ornamental plants and have high ornamental value Leaf and plant type also have high ornamental value,so the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was used to construct the evaluation system of ornamental value of Gesneriaceae in Guizhou,where the constraint layer includes flower ornamental,other ornamental and ecological adaptability and 21 evaluation indexes include flower display,flower amount,flower color,leaf shape and plant type,etc.The results showed that the ornamental value of flowers was the most important limiting factor.Primulina eburnea,Hemiboea subcapitata,Glabrella mihieri,Lysionotus pauciflorus,Primulina liboensis and Paraboea rufescens with higher scores were significantly better than other species in ornamental value and ecological adaptability.The evaluation results were basically consistent with the actual situation and should be recommended and applied first. |
