Renovation Of Residential Kindergartens Based On The Theory Of "development Suitability Practice" (DAP)

With the rapid development of my country's social economy and the change of the birth policy,preschool education has also received more attention.In the process of renewal of the old residential area,the renewal design of the kindergarten environment located in it has also become the target of attention.Kindergarten is a space environment for children to learn and live,and the construction of the environment affects the growth of children.Due to the long-term planning and construction of old residential areas and the lack of advanced preschool education environment construction concepts,there are still some problems in some kindergarten environments.Outdated infrastructure and lack of functional space have hindered the healthy growth of young children.This paper takes the old residential kindergarten as the research object.Firstly,it analyzes the basic physiological and psychological characteristics of young children and the core content of DAP(Development appropriate practice)preschool education theory.Combined with excellent kindergarten practice cases under DAP theory,it clarifies the guiding mechanism of DAP theory for kindergarten environment design;The old residential area kindergartens conduct research and analysis,and combine the DAP theory to put forward the suitability principle for the renewal of old residential area kindergartens.In this paper,the new village kindergarten of Shanghai Normal University is taken as an example to design and transform.On the basis of sufficient on-the-spot investigation,the principle of suitability update is used to analyze the problems existing in the current environment and clarify the update direction.In the process of transforming and designing the indoor and outdoor space environment of the kindergarten,we focus on the transformation of children's play space,and try to create a good space suitable for children's life and learning.
