Early childhood education is the foundation of national education.Currently,kindergarten education in our country has entered the stage of quality education,which emphasizes that early childhood education should follow the scientific law of early childhood development.Sensory education should precede higher intelligence education.Preschool age is an important stage in the development of children's physical and sensory perception.As an important approach of children's quality education,embodied cognition is one thing that children recognize the environment through their bodies and senses,which is increasingly paid more attention to owing to their subjectivity in the process of education.Currently,there are many studies on how children recognize environment through body and sensation in pedagogy,but few studies on how children recognize environment through body and sensation from the perspective of constructing spatial environment.With the participation in the kindergarten design project of the studio,the author reads a large number of books and makes many field visits to better know the current condition of the pre-kindergarten play space.The author uses the basic design theory of architecture,behavioral psychology theory and pedagogy theory to construct spatial layout mode,activity unit layout mode,outdoor activity space which are suitable for cognition,social interaction,emotional change,sports games,sensory development which constitute embodied experience.Then the author summarizes three principles of the design of play space from the perspective of embodied experience:spatial continuity,interaction between children and space,and organicity of place.This paper consists of six chapters,which is summarized as follows:The first chapter is mainly a brief statement of the domestic and foreign research.In the second chapter,the author states the theory of embodied cognition and the characteristics of children's behavioral and psychological cognition.In the third chapter,the author investigates the current situation of play space and children play situation in ten domestic kindergartens,which provides reliable realistic basis for the following research and practice by sorting and summarizing.The fourth chapter is that the author analyzes the excellent kindergarten design cases at home and abroad in the aspects of kindergarten spatial layout mode,activity unit layout mode,play space and outdoor activity place.In the fifth chapter,according to the approaches and tactics of the former chapter,the author designs the Danan kindergarten of Xiamen University to clarifies the practical value of the research results.The sixth chapter is that the author makes the conclusion of the paper,points out the shortcomings of the research and concludes the prospects of the following research.
