Research On The Correlation Between Landscape Lighting Design And Residents' Behavior Psychology

Lighting environment is closely related to people's life quality,it is an important indicator to evaluate the light environment of residential areas,which can directly affect residents' behavior and mental state at night.Reasonable landscape lighting can satisfy residents' needs in safety,comfort and beauty etc.,it is not only conductive to residents' mood,and it can also improve their relationships and enthusiasm for activities.Any changes in landscape lighting will directly affect residents' behavior and mentality through visual sensory system,so they interact and relate with each other.Currently,the landscape lighting design of residential areas in China is not perfect,and the construction and transformation of landscape lighting design in residential areas varies considerably in quality,some may lack of reasonable lighting layout,others may lack of lamps or have the problem of over lighting,which ignored the impact of landscape lighting on residents' behavior and mentality.Therefore,it is important to arouse the people-oriented concept of landscape lighting design and pay attention to the experience of residents.Based on the correlation between landscape lighting design and residents' behavior mentality,this paper analyzes the influence of landscape lighting on residents' behavior mentality in terms of nature of light,methods of expression,carrier elements and conditions of lighting.According to residential areas in Qingdao,status of landscape lighting and resident satisfaction,it is believed that sense of safety,novelty of technique,location sense of carrier,form of lamps are closely related to residents' behavior mentality.Meanwhile,the optimization strategy is put forward by referring to the experience of relevant cases.Through the reforming practice in landscape lighting of "Vancouver garden" community,it analyzes the problems in the design of landscape lighting,and explores feasible design ideas based on residents' thoughts and behavior characteristics both in theory and practice,hoping to provide some reference for related research.
