Automobile electronic water pump is different from the traditional mechanical water pump,including mechanical,hydraulic,electronic control and communication and other multi-disciplinary content,its research and development and testing process put forward higher requirements for test equipment.At present,the electronic water pump testing equipment used in the industry is mainly modified from mechanical water pump testing equipment,which cannot meet the complex requirements of automotive electronic water pump testing.Based on the embedded architecture,this paper develops a new energy vehicle electronic water pump comprehensive test system,which can provide the working condition control,data acquisition,storage and analysis,curve drawing,report generation and other functions required in the test process of vehicle electronic water pump,and support manual test and automatic test.First of all,this paper designs a system controller with STM32F103 as the core,which is used to control the working condition of the electronic pump,collect the state information of the electronic pump and configure the test environment of the test system.The controller supports electronic water pumps with LIN,CAN and PWM interfaces,provides program-controlled power for the electronic water pump,and can collect the operating voltage,current and fault information of the electronic water pump.At the same time,the controller controls the flow through the solenoid proportional valve,collects the flow,pressure and temperature of the test system,and provides different test conditions for the electronic pump.The controller has temperature and pressure alarms and emergency braking functions to ensure the safety of the test system and the electronic water pump.The system controller realizes information interaction with the host computer through the serial port.The upper computer application software is developed using the LABVIEW platform.The application software provides two test modes,manual and automatic,and supports functions such as data collection,storage and analysis,curve drawing and report generation.Finally,according to the test requirements of the electronic water pump,a flow control strategy based on fuzzy control algorithm is proposed,which improves the stability of the flow control process and reduces the adverse effect of valve vortex on the test results.Based on an electronic water pump calibrated by a third-party testing organization as a reference,the performance indicators of the test system are verified by the similarity coefficient method and the standard data comparison method.The test data of the similarity coefficient method meets the pump similarity law.The standard data comparison method shows that the two data curves are highly fitted,which is less than the specified error range.Finally,the system is used to test the performance and durability of the electronic water pump.During the test,the flow control is accurate and stable,and the system runs stably.The above results show that the performance indicators of the new energy vehicle electronic water pump test system developed in this paper meet the design requirements,and the performance test of the automotive electronic water pump can be completed manually or fully automatically,which can effectively improve the research and development efficiency of the automotive electronic water pump.
