As the core component of the automobile engine thermal management system,the electronic water pump is used to replace the traditional mechanical water pump,and the flow rate of the coolant can be adjusted reasonably and accurately according to the real-time working condition of the engine,thereby improving work efficiency and reducing accessory power consumption and wear.Starting from the actual project,the paper uses a non-inductive three-phase DC brushless motor design to develop an automotive electronic water pump controller with a rated working voltage of 12V and a rated power of 200W.Adopting AEC-Q100 certified MLX812xy automotive grade MCU as the main control chip,based on SPWM control algorithm,obtain the real-time position of the motor rotor by collecting the motor back electromotive voltage,receive the speed control signal from the ECU through the Lin bus and feed back the pump speed to the ECU.And over-voltage,idling,short-circuit,stalling and other state and fault information,through the three-stage blind start method to control the motor to start stably.In order to realize the reliability and stability of the electronic water pump system,the paper designs and tests the EMC performance of the controller according to the GMW-3097 standard,and designs and tests the high temperature durability of the controller according to the GMW-3172 standard.The IcePak software was used to simulate the heat and heat dissipation of the system at 125 ? ambient temperature,and the high temperature endurance test was completed in a 125 ? high temperature test chamber.The test results show that the electronic water pump controller function developed by the paper meets the user design requirements,and the EMC performance and high temperature durability can meet the requirements of GMW3097 and GMW3172,respectively.
