Batik,called wajie in ancient times,is a traditional printing and dyeing technology in China with a history of more than two thousand years and unique artistic charm.Batik painting is an art form that combines traditional batik painting with modern painting art to express the painter's subjective emotion and thinking.Ice pattern is a natural texture shaped like ice cracks,which is the most representative artistic language in batik technology.In batik,ice pattern and graphics complement each other,especially ice pattern breaks through the inherent form of graphics and recombines the picture.The superposition and recombination of ice pattern and picture form constitute the special visual effect of batik painting which is different from other art forms.The article first explains what is the beauty of "broken" and where the beauty comes from.Then the cause of the "broken" texture of ice grain in batik,the aesthetic characteristic and the aesthetic value are discussed step by step.When interpreting the visual effect and expression form of "broken" ice pattern,the author puts them in the context of batik creation,deeply interprets the morphological and color characteristics of ice pattern in batik,and explains why the natural and primitive "broken" ice pattern can arouse people's imagination.Based on the discussion of "void" and "reality" in traditional Chinese aesthetics,the author analyzes the aesthetic value of "broken" ice pattern in batik painting in combination with post-modern deconstruction in the west.This paper uses various research methods,such as literature analysis,case analysis and comparative analysis,to interpret specific batik works and related art works,compare Chinese and Western cultural concepts,and restore the creative context of "broken" ice pattern.The author examines the "broken" effect and "broken" beauty of ice pattern in batik art from different perspectives,explains the connotation and value of "broken" beauty,and explores the implication of the beauty of batik art.
