The structural system is complex and diverse,and the new structure is developed,which is influenced by the structure,topography and landform,climate and human activities in Xinping County,Yunnan Province,In recent years,landslides,debris flow and other geological disasters occur frequently,the extent and scope of their impact are increasing,causing great losses to property,some of the disaster points also threaten the safety of people's lives and property,restricting the social and economic sustainable development of Xinping County.This paper verifies the basic situation of the geological disasters(hidden dangers)that have occurred and are unstable in the area.and verifies the basic situation of geological disasters in the area.There are analyzed and studied the distribution law,formation mechanism and development trend of geological hazards,and obtained the following main understanding:(1)There have been identified 394 geological disasters(hidden dangers)within the territory(223 disaster points and 171 hidden dangers),including 332 landslides,50 debris flows and 12 collapses.According to the classification standard of geological disasters,the disaster grades are 5 extremely large ones,3 large ones,13 medium ones and 373 small ones.The main geological disasters in Xinping County are landslide and debris flow,followed by collapse.(2)Analyzed and studied the development characteristics,forming conditions and forming causes of geological disasters within the territory,and to predicted the stability of its present situation and the future development trend,to assessed the risk level.Based on the weight calculation of the impact factors of the disaster points in the area,three major regions with high,medium and low risk of geological disasters and15 sub-regions are divided into five sub-regions in each of the three major regions.Using the method of geological hazard coefficient,the geological hazard in the area is divided into three areas,namely,high risk area,medium risk area and low risk area,and there are nine sub-areas in total.(3)Based on the comprehensive analysis and study of the geological disaster points identified in the area,three key geological disaster prevention and control sub-areas are divided in the area according to the results of geological disaster prone zoning and dangerous zoning,and the adjustment suggestions of geological disaster prevention and control planning in xinping county are put forward.It is suggested that economic,reasonable and effective measures should be adopted to prevent and control disasters,and environmental protection consciousness should be strengthened to avoid or reduce the damage and loss caused by geological disasters to human society and environment.
