| Many studies have shown that hearing-impaired children have emotional development disorders, such as excessive anxiety, depression, anger and so on,which have caused trouble to hearing-impaired children’s life, work and study. Therefore, more and more researchers pay attention to the emotional development of hearing-impaired children.Emotional attentional bias is one of the core issues in emotional development, which is mainly related to individual attention allocation.Attention allocation occurs in the early stage of emotional processing and is one of the emotional regulation strategies. At present, there are few researches on emotional attention bias in hearing-impaired children, and there are few researches on intervention of emotional attention bias in hearing-impaired children. Therefore, based on the study of emotional attention bias of hearing-impaired children, this study explores emotional regulation strategies and intervention methods to effectively regulate emotional attention bias.In this study, three experiments were conducted;Experiment 1 used a point detection paradigm with PANAS as an aid to compare the differences in emotional attention bias between hearing impaired and hearing children. It was found that the hearing impaired children group scored significantly higher on the sad emotional attention bias values than the hearing children group, and there was no significant difference in the scores on the happy emotional attention bias values. The study suggests that children with hearing impairment have an excessive negative emotional attention bias compared to children with hearing impairment. In Experiment 2,after initiating the attentional allocation emotion regulation strategy for children with hearing impairment through a sentence organization task,a point detection paradigm was used to investigate whether the emotional attention bias of children with hearing impairment changed under the initiation of this strategy. It was found that the experimental group had significantly lower sadness attention bias values than the control group and no significant difference in happy attention bias values. The study suggests that the strategy is effective in regulating excessive negative emotional attention bias in children with hearing impairment.Experiment 3,based on Experiment 2,trained and reinforced the strategy through an adapted version of the point detection paradigm, and explored the effect of medium-and long-term attentional bias training on the intervention of emotional attentional bias in children with hearing impairment. It was found that the training was applicable to children with hearing impairment with mild to moderate negative emotional attention bias and less effective in intervening with children with hearing impairment with severe negative emotional attention bias. |
