| The growing development of electronic media is profoundly changing the way people live, study and work today, and it has gradually become a tool for children to learn, entertain and communicate.Learning to coexist with electronic media is a reality that children must adapt to in the process of growing up.Early childhood is an important period for the development of learning quality. The formation of learning quality is affected by many factors, among which the role of electronic media cannot be ignored. Therefore, this study selects 313 children aged 3-6 in two public kindergartens in Dalian as the research object, adopts the questionnaire survey method, and asks parents about the basic situation of children’s electronic media use and learning quality.Correlation and regression analysis to explore the relationship between the two.The research conclusions are as follows:First, the quality of use of electronic media by children aged 3-6 is at an upper-middle level, and children of different ages only have significant differences in the dimension of independent use.Children of highly educated parents are significantly better than other children in terms of high-quality use.Due to other children, among them, the effective learning is significant. The difference is most striking. There were significant differences in the dimensions of independent use,low-quality use,and screen exposure and problem use of young children among different primary companions.Different gender, different family income, and different ranking of children at home had no significant impact on children’s electronic media use.Second, the overall development of children’s learning quality is good,at an upper-middle level.Among the dimensions, curiosity and interest have the highest scores, and initiative has the lowest score. There are significant differences in the learning quality of children of different ages in the dimensions of initiative, reflection and interpretation, and marginally significant in the dimensions of persistence and attention and creativity and invention, which are mainly improved with age.The learning quality of children of different genders is significantly different only in the dimensions of initiative and reflection and interpretation, which is reflected in the fact that the development level of girls is higher than that of boys.Third, there is a correlation between the overall quality of children’s electronic media use and the overall quality of learning. The specific performance is that high-quality electronic media use can positively predict children’s learning quality, and low-quality electronic media use can negatively predict children’s learning quality. From the perspective of specific dimensions, the dimensions of active management, effective learning and common communication in the use of high-quality electronic media have a significant positive predictive ability on children’s learning quality, and only screen exposure in the use of low-quality electronic media has a positive effect on children’s learning quality Significant negative predictive power. |
