Paper cutting is a traditional Chinese folk art,which has its own unique color and connotation.Suqian,because of its unique geographical location,is located on the dividing line between the South and the north of China.It is nourished by multiculturalism,which makes it form a unique temperament.In terms of the characteristics of paper cutting,it not only considers the exquisite and transparent south,but also considers the thick north.As the representative of traditional folk art in Suqian,paper cutting has high educational value.The art curriculum standard for full-time compulsory education(2011 Edition)points out that:"making extensive use of various courses outside the school and carrying forward excellent Chinese traditional culture and national folk art is conducive to broadening students’horizons and ideas."[1]formulated by the Ministry of education of the people’s Republic of China Art Curriculum Standard for compulsory education(2011 Edition)[M]Beijing:Beijing Normal University Press,2012:34.]]In the process of fully implementing quality education,art education has attracted more and more attention.As the main way to implement aesthetic education in primary and secondary schools,as well as the compulsory courses in the nine-year compulsory education stage,it can not be replaced by other courses.However,the traditional cultural atmosphere is becoming weaker and weaker,and people are gradually aware of the seriousness of the problem.The most effective way is to compile it into a curriculum and implement it in schools,so that more students can understand the uniqueness of the paper-cut curriculum.The author investigated three schools including Suqian experimental primary school.The author found that today’s primary school students have a relatively shallow understanding of traditional handicrafts,and the school has limited knowledge inheritance of traditional culture.Therefore,based on the above problems,the author believes that the most effective way for schools to develop courses with their own characteristics is school-based courses.For teachers,first of all,In teaching,we should let students master the basic knowledge of paper cutting and cultivate their interest in learning.This paper takes the development and application of paper-cut handicraft in Suqian area in the school-based curriculum of primary school art as the research center.Firstly,it makes a theoretical research on the development of Suqian paper-cut school-based curriculum;Secondly,the author mainly uses the form of questionnaire to investigate the development and teaching status of art resources in Suqian Experimental Primary School and other three schools,and analyzes the value principles and development objectives of school-based curriculum development;Furthermore,taking Suqian experimental primary school as an example,through the combination of the content learned from the questionnaire survey of teachers and students and teaching practice,this paper makes a specific and targeted practice on the teaching of paper-cut school-based curriculum in primary school art curriculum.In short,Suqian paper-cut develops the school-based curriculum resources of primary school art,which not only enriches the school art education curriculum,but also makes the inheritance and development of traditional folk art.The author expounds the development and application of paper cutting in school-based curriculum,hoping to attract more people’s attention to paper cutting.
