At present,the three-level curriculum management model is the main management model implemented in the stage of basic education in China.As an important part of this model,the development and implementation of school-based curriculum is very important.When developing school-based curriculum,it is necessary to consider teachers’ teaching level according to the actual school running conditions of the school and the local teaching environment,so as to comply with the law of students’ comprehensive development.The significance of school-based curriculum is that it can make up for the lack of pertinence of national curriculum development.It can be said that whether school education really realizes the optimization determines whether the development and implementation of school-based curriculum can proceed smoothly.Folk paper cutting is one of the most popular,oldest and most influential folk arts in China,which contains profound national cultural heritage.By setting up the school-based curriculum of folk paper-cut skills,we can cultivate students’ observation ability and practical ability,improve students’ aesthetic level,make the school curriculum more three-dimensional and enrich students’ learning forms.At the same time,we can stimulate students’ love for Chinese traditional folk culture and inherit national traditional culture.Taking J primary school in Western Hunan as an example,this paper studies the school-based curriculum of folk paper-cut skills.The first step is to sort out and analyze the relevant literature,and study the development and implementation status of school-based curriculum and folk paper-cut school-based curriculum at home and abroad;The second step is to investigate the implementation status of the school-based curriculum of folk paper-cut skills in J primary school by using the methods of questionnaire,interview and case study,and systematically analyze its development status.The survey results show that the school-based curriculum development based on the folk paper-cut culture in Western Hunan has been developed in J primary school for more than ten years.Through this characteristic curriculum,J primary school has created its own school running style,and the comprehensive quality of students has been greatly developed,but there are also some problems,which are reflected in the lack of guidance of curriculum experts and the insufficient mastery of folk paper-cut culture by teachers.In view of these problems,the author puts forward some suggestions: Based on life and culture,pay attention to the knowledge selection of school-based curriculum,based on social practice,pay attention to the cultivation of innovation ability,construct the evaluation system of school-based curriculum according to the evaluation principles,and strengthen the construction of Chinese national community consciousness of school-based curriculum on nationality.
