On the one hand,under the trend of lifelong learning,research on enhancing learning quality is increasing,and more and more attention is being paid to the important role of learning quality for the sustainable development of young children.On the other hand,the concept of science and arts integration is gradually gaining attention with the introduction of cross-disciplinary integration of science and arts education.However,few studies have been conducted on the integration of science and arts in preschools,and even fewer have explored the role of science and arts integration in the learning quality of young children.In contrast,the small community art activity curriculum in Kindergarten H is an art curriculum based on children’s art perception and aesthetics,which emphasizes children’s aesthetic experience and learning quality in art activities,and breaks away from the single domain and inherent teaching materials,coinciding with the theoretical basis of cross-disciplinary integration curriculum.Based on this,this study uses the small club activity curriculum as a carrier and selects three small art clubs in Kindergarten H to carry out the science and art integration cross-disciplinary curriculum,comparing children’s learning quality improvement under the science and art integration education model with practical research,and proposing effective education strategies for the science and art integration education model.In the course of the study,a total of 18 small club activities were conducted in Kindergarten H at a frequency of once a week.In this study,60 children(40 children in science and arts integration clubs and 20 children in general arts clubs),30 teachers and 6 observation cases of science and arts integration were studied through literature research,observation,questionnaire and text analysis.The teachers were given the questionnaire and the children were evaluated using the questionnaire "Questionnaire on the Implementation of Science and Arts Interdisciplinary Curriculum in Small Club Art Activities" and the evaluation form "Assessment of Children’s Learning Behavior".The following three aspects of research results were obtained in this study: combined with the questionnaire,the current situation of the implementation of the small community activities of science and art integration in Kindergarten H was investigated in four aspects:children’s experience and interest,the implementation of the science and art integration curriculum,teachers’ professional ability,and the form of science and art integration;teacher ratings and data analysis of children’s learning quality in the small community of science and art integration were conducted,combined with text analysis of the observed cases,to understand the Based on the results of the investigation and experiment,we provide teaching strategies for kindergartens to carry out the science and arts integration curriculum in terms of teachers’ own professionalism,the implementation focus of the science and arts integration curriculum,and the verification of the educational effectiveness of the science and arts integration curriculum.
