Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China first proposed to do a good job of "stabilizing employment" in the "six stability" work.In the following years,the importance of "stabilizing employment" has been emphasized.The 2022 Two Sessions pointed out that employment is now not only a matter of people’s livelihood,but also a problem of development.Market-oriented means should be used to solve the problem of employment,and it stated that by the end of the year,more than 11 million new jobs can be created in cities and towns.At present,with the development of the digital economy,market entities have also grown rapidly,and jobs have been increased,which also contributes to the implementation of my country’s "three guarantees" policy.Since 2020,due to the impact of the epidemic,the economies of all countries in the world have been significantly affected,and the impact on traditional industries has been particularly significant.Basically,traditional industries are in a state of suspension,which has a negative impact on employment in various countries.During the fight against the epidemic and the subsequent period of time,the digital economy gave full play to its own advantages and enabled the resumption of work and production,which was of great help in stabilizing employment.To this end,in recent years,my country has issued some opinions on the development of the digital economy to stabilize and expand employment,pointing out that it is necessary to use the development of the digital economy to increase the number of jobs,and to ensure the expansion of employment fundamentals and employment in the process of continuous economic transformation and upgrading.Quality improvement.With the development and application of digital technology,the digital economy has become an important issue for the economic development of countries around the world.The impact of the digital economy on employment in the subject has become one of the most important hot spots in academia and government departments.In view of this,this paper first studies and sorts out a large number of domestic and foreign literatures related to the digital economy and employment,and analyzes the impact of the digital economy on the total employment and employment industry structure in my country based on the relevant theories that the digital economy affects the total employment and employment industry structure.mechanism.The results show that the digital economy can significantly improve the market efficiency and demand of labor,thereby affecting the total employment;by promoting the independence of skilled workers and industrial digitization,the employment industry structure will be transferred from the secondary industry to the tertiary industry.Then use the chart to analyze the status quo of digital economy development,employment development status,digital economy employment development status quo and the problems existing in the process of digital economy affecting employment.On this basis,this paper uses my country’s digital economy data and employment data from 2002 to 2020,uses Stata15.0econometrics software,and constructs a vector autoregressive model to conduct quantitative analysis to test the impact of digital economy on my country’s total employment and employment industries.influence of structure.Use cointegration test to judge the long-term equilibrium relationship between variables,use Granger test to prove the causal relationship between variables,and use impulse response analysis and variance decomposition to study the degree of influence.The research results show that: First,there is a long-term balanced and stable relationship between the digital economy and total employment and employment industry structure.Second,the digital economy is the Granger reason for my country’s total employment and employment industry structure,indicating that the digital economy is closely related to my country’s employment.Third,the impact of the digital economy on the total employment is first suppressed and then promoted,but in the long run,the digital economy will increase the total employment.In addition,the digital economy is conducive to the optimization of the employment industry structure,which greatly increases the number of people employed in the tertiary industry.Fourth,the contribution rate of the digital economy to my country’s total employment and employment industry structure has increased year by year.Finally,based on the problems and empirical results in the process of digital economy affecting employment,targeted countermeasures and suggestions are put forward: actively develop new employment forms;strengthen the training of digital talents;improve employment-related services;strengthen social security for new employment forms.
