| Anxiety is the basic emotion of human beings.Appropriate examination anxiety is conducive to the performance of the examination,but long-term anxiety will affect physical and mental health.Junior high school students not only physiological changes,but also in the psychological semi-mature and semi-naive,independent and dependent state of contradiction.After entering junior middle school,students’ complexity of subjects,adaptation to the new environment,parents’ expectations,competition among students and academic pressure all lead to excessive psychological pressure and test anxiety.Based on the Literature Review of test anxiety,previous studies have focused on college students and high school students.In the intervention research,more is based on some kind of therapy,such as behavior therapy,cognitive therapy,learning skill training and so on method choice.But lacks to the examination anxiety influence factor design pertinence psychological counseling plan.Therefore,based on the shortcomings of the previous studies,this study selected Mongols Junior high school students as the research object to explore the current situation of test anxiety.According to the results of the study,the factors affecting test anxiety were interviewed in grade one of junior middle school.According to the influencing factors of test anxiety of Mongols junior high school students,we designed a group counseling intervention program which is more suitable for Mongols junior high school students.A control group was also designed to examine the effectiveness of the intervention program in alleviating test anxiety among middle school students in Mongols.Purpose : To study the current situation and influencing factors of test anxiety of Mongolian junior Middle School Students,and take intervention measures according to the influencing factors of test anxiety of Mongolian junior Middle School Students,so as to alleviate the test anxiety of Mongolian junior Middle School Students.Methods :(1)The Chinese version of Sarason Test Anxiety Scale(TAS)was used to investigate 651 students(271 in Grade Seven,275 in Grade Eight and 105 in Grade Nine)in Tongliao Mongolian School to understand the current situation of test anxiety of Mongolian junior Middle School Students.At the same time,a self-designed open-ended questionnaire was used to investigate the manifestations and influencing factors of test anxiety of junior school freshmen.(2)Using semi-structured interviews,20 junior school freshmen and 5 head teachers were randomly selected to study the manifestations and influencing factors of junior school students’ test anxiety.(3)Two classes were randomly divided into experimental group and control group to study the intervention effect of group counseling on test anxiety.Results :(1)Among 651 Mongolian junior Middle School Students,317 had high test anxiety,accounting for 48.7%;245 students(37.6%)had middle test anxiety;89 had low test anxiety,accounting for 13.7%;The test anxiety of Mongolian junior Middle School Students is very serious,accounting for 86.3%.There are significant differences in gender,class cadres and grade,but there are no differences in whether it is an only child or whether it is accommodation.(2)The influencing factors of Mongolian Junior Middle School Students’ test anxiety include several aspects: other people’s expectations,lack of self-confidence,lack of learning strategies,self requirements,comparison among students,test situation and wrong cognition of the test.(3)After group counseling intervention,there was a significant difference in the test anxiety level between the pre-test and post-test in the experimental group.The test anxiety in the experimental group was significantly relieved,but there was no difference in the control group.After group counseling intervention,there was significant difference in post-test anxiety between the experimental group and the control group.Conclusions :(1)The test anxiety of Mongolian junior Middle School Students is very common.The main influencing factors are: other people’s expectations,lack of self-confidence,lack of learning skills,self requirements,comparison among students,test situations and wrong cognition of the test.(2)For the test anxiety of Mongolian junior Middle School Students,designing targeted group counseling program can effectively reduce the test anxiety level of Mongolian junior Middle School Students. |
