When the examinees in the exam, due to inadequate preparation, high expectations or lack of self-confidence, fear cannot achieve the goal, worry too much about the exam results cause the students to treat the exam too nervous and too worried.Appropriate test anxiety causes the brain and the body in the proper state of arousal or excitement, in favor of the exam review and improvisation; while high levels of test anxiety will hinder the student’s performance, even adversely affect the examinees’physical and mental health. This article explores the high school students of different sex, age, grade, division of arts, whether the only child, whether art students, students in towns or cities, parent-child communication, social support, temperament type and other factors impact on test anxiety. By understanding the status of high school exam anxiety, we propose a series of countermeasures to mitigate the high school exam anxiety and promote their physical and mental health. We adopted some instruments, including Test Anxiety Scale, Huichang Temperament Scale, Parent-Adolescent communication Scale, PSSS Scale. Based on statistical analyses, we drew some conclusions as follow:Parent-adolescent communication, social support, temperament and test anxiety are significant correlation. The better parent-adolescent communication, the lower level of test anxiety; Better social support, the lower the test anxiety; The sanguine students have the lowest test anxiety, while the melancholic students have the highest test anxiety.Besides, test anxiety has significant differences in age, test anxiety levels decrease with increasing age; The only child test anxiety is higher than the non-child. However, test anxiety in sex, grade, arts and sciences, whether art students, origin of students are no significant differences. The survey found that, high school girls test anxiety level is slightly higher than boys. The fresh students and the senior three students have the similar test anxiety, and both higher than the senior two students, the test anxiety level is U-shaped distribution. Liberal arts students’ test anxiety is slightly higher than science students. The anxiety level of art students is slightly higher than the non-art students.
