| The freshmen students in senior high school have just entered a new environment and are in the transitional stage from the role of junior high school students to the role of senior high school students.Their physical and mental are experiencing dynamic development and change.Altruistic behavior is an individual willing to help others without reward,that is a noble moral sentiment.Cultivating altruistic thoughts and exercising altruistic behaviors of freshmen students in senior high school is beneficial for them to better adapt to the new environment,establish good interpersonal relationship with new students,and form altruistic psychological quality.Therefore,in order to understand the influencing factors of altruistic behavior,according to the existing research results of scholars,this study introduces two variables,namely,the belief in a just world and empathy,and is committed to exploring the influencing relationship among the belief in a just world,empathy and altruistic behavior and its influencing mechanism,so as to provide strong theoretical basis and empirical support for promoting the emergence of altruistic behavior of senior one students,and put forward specific guiding education countermeasures.In this study,‘The Self-report Altruism Scale’,‘Belief in a Just World Scale’ and‘Interpersonal Reactivity Index’ were used as research survey instruments.900 students from three different high schools in Hanzhong,Shaanxi Province were selected by cluster sampling method.Descriptive statistics,variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to analyze the data by SPSS22.0 statistical software,in order to quantitative the relationship among altruistic behavior,belief in a just world and empathy.The main research survey conclusions are as following :(1)There is a significant positive correlation among the belief in a just world,empathy and altruistic behavior of senior one students,and both belief in a just world and empathy can positively predict the level of altruistic behavior of senior one students,which can be used as the influencing factors of altruistic behavior of senior one students.(2)Senior one students ’ belief in a just world and empathy are above medium level,and their altruistic behavior is at medium level.(3)There are significant differences in the belief in a just world among senior one students in whether they are class cadres or single-parent families;high school students empathy in gender,whether the only child there are significant differences;there are significant differences in altruistic behavior between high school students and single-parent families.(4)The empathy of senior one students plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between belief in a just world and altruistic behavior. |
