As a part of national music,which is the carrier of Chinese culture and spirit,Shandong folk songs have important cultural and educational value.The theme unit curriculum is an effective organizational form of kindergarten education activities.The development of kindergarten-based music unit curriculum with regional characteristics will integrate Shandong folk songs into kindergarten music teaching activities,which has far-reaching influence on children’s physical and mental development.The existing research on the development of national music in music curriculum mainly focuses on the macro level,and the practice is mostly carried out in primary and secondary schools,with relatively few research results in early childhood education.The study aims to take Shandong folk songs as the breakthrough point,through the theme unit curriculum development activities,and to realize the effective integration of local music culture and kindergarten music curriculum,so as to further improve the professional quality of kindergarten teachers,to carry forward and inherit the national music culture,and finally to promote the comprehensive development of children ’ s body and mind.Taking ZC kindergarten in Zibo as a sample,through case investigation and interview,the study finds out the current situation that Shandong folk songs have not been effectively integrated into the kindergarten music curriculum.Then,it analyzes the teachers’ understanding of Shandong folk songs,the content and form of integration,the attention of parents,and so on.Thus,it tries to find out the factors resulting in the problems from three aspects,that is,the effective use of local music and cultural resources,teachers’ awareness in curriculum development and internal and external support systems.This study makes a systematic curriculum planning and design on the integration of Shandong folk songs into kindergarten music curriculum from four aspects: the formulation of curriculum objectives,the selection of curriculum content,the implementation method and curriculum evaluation.Based on this,the theme activity plan is determined and the practice of the main theme unit activity has been carried out for one semester.Moreover,the study also finds that the integration of Shandong folk songs into kindergarten music curriculum has a positive role12 in promoting children’s development,teachers’ professional quality,changes in parents’ ideas and curriculum construction.At last,the study puts forward some suggestions for improvement from three aspects: Effective selection and utilization of curriculum resources of local music culture,improving teachers’ quality and forming an external support system. |
