| Today,most people have access to higher education.China focuses on educational reform and innovation,and promotes the level of higher education in academies.From the perspective of education results,the quality of talent training and the completeness of talent reserve are important indicators to test the quality of education.Compared with the traditional results-oriented evaluation,the process evaluation advocated by educational thought in the New Era can reflect the learning effectiveness of students more completely in all domains,and the process evaluation is mainly reflected by the learners’ learning input level,and the degree of professional studying investment directly affects the academic performance of the learner and education mode in universities.Professional commitment is the most essential factor affecting the level of learning investment.The attitude of college students to the major they study will affect their cognition,understanding and management of self-emotion,through learners’ subjective awareness and perception of external objective social support,it will eventually have a chain reaction to the effect of individual professional learning and the quality of education in the whole society.This research adopts the method of stratified random sampling,and selects 600 college students from three general full-time colleges and universities in Qinghai Province as subjects.The "Learning Engagement Scale" analyzes and explores the relationship between professional commitment,emotional intelligence,comprehension of social support and learning engagement among college students in Qinghai.The main conclusions of this study:(1)Overall level of professional commitment of college students in Qinghai Province is not high,at an upper-middle level.There are significant differences in each dimension and total score of professional commitment in gender(except for continuing commitment dimension),grade(except emotional commitment dimension),and major,the score of perceived social support is generally at an upper-middle level.There are significant differences in subdimension and overall of comprehension of social support in terms of majors,the degree of learning investment is average.There are notable variances in grades and specialties in different factors and on the total score of the study variables.(2)There is notable positive variance between major commitment,emotional intelligence,and perceived social support.Professional commitment can positively predict emotional intelligence,and professional commitment can also positively predict social support.(3)Major commitment,perceived social support,emotional intelligence and learning engagement are significantly positively correlated,and can positively predict learning engagement.(4)Emotional intelligence and perceived social support play a mediating role between professional commitment and learning engagement. |
