| Education is a means to improve the national quality and reduce the illiteracy rate.It is also a way for individuals to obtain knowledge and change their social status.It is also an important tool for rural children to achieve cross-class mobility.High school education is the link between compulsory education and higher education,and plays a connecting role.For rural students who lack high-quality resources,learning in high school is crucial.However,the phenomenon of recessive dropping out is widespread in rural high schools,which seriously hinders the development of rural education.Dropping out is a process,is a complete stage from recessive development to dominant,the emergence of recessive dropout phenomenon reflects the decline of education quality,resulting in the waste of educational resources,not only is not conducive to the formation of a benign learning environment,more harmful to the overall development of students themselves.This study from the perspective of social work to chengdu W middle school of rural boarding high school students as the research object,through field investigation and interviews,mastered the W the actual situation of recessive dropped out of high school students and understand the related factors that cause students recessive drop out of school,at the same time by utilizing the method of case work to the plight of a recessive drop out of school in the student to carry on the intervention.In the whole intervention process,the author adopted ecosystem theory and advantage perspective as practical guidance theory,and carried out eight activities including case receiving,case interview,learning resource link,manual practice,joint activities,case closing,etc.After the completion of the case work,the author reviewed the whole practical work process and summarized and reflected on the problems.It is found that students’ recessive dropout is mainly affected by personal micro and meso system,so it is more obvious to intervene from these two levels.The advantage perspective theory is more suitable for improving the self-efficacy of the hidden dropout,which can fully tap the advantages and potential of the hidden dropout,and help them enhance the motivation and confidence of change. |
