With the development of social economy and the migration of population,many rural families are in a state of separation in space.Under the disjointed family reproduction model,intergenerational education has become a common phenomenon in rural family education.The elderly,who are responsible for the education of their grandchildren,are prone to educational anxiety due to the conflict of educational concepts,the limitation of their own abilities,and the change of the intergenerational relationship.However,there is a lack of research on the educational anxiety of rural grandparents.This paper describes a practical study on the intervention of rural grandparents’ educational anxiety through group work.Through questionnaires,interviews and other methods,the author collected data on the intergenerational education of grandparents in W Village,and analyzed the causes of their educational anxiety based on the data.Under the guidance of energy enhancement theory,group work was used to intervene.Firstly,a peer communication platform was set up to enhance members’ emotional regulation ability through negative emotional catharsis and emotional regulation ability learning.Secondly,guide the members to reflect on the communication mode in the education of generational separation,and teach and practice skills.Finally,through the life review and the interaction between grandparents and grandchildren,the group members’ confidence in education was rebuilt.From the practice of three dimensions to enhance the ability of the elderly to relieve their educational anxiety.This study draws the following conclusions: First,the theory of enhancement has certain applicability in alleviating the anxiety of rural grandparents.After the enhancement of three dimensions,combined with the pre-test and post-test results of members,it was found that the anxiety index of most members decreased.Second,under the same intervention,the anxiety level of group members changed differently.In the group process,we should pay attention to the differences of members and make individual plans.Third,the process of energy enhancement has its stage characteristics.In the early stage,attention should be paid to group construction,in the middle stage,members should be guided to reflect and study together,and in the later stage,more attention should be paid to the play of members’ subjectivity.Fourthly,attention should be paid to the dynamic and sustainable development of energy enhancement in group activities,and timely consolidation and strengthening of acquired knowledge and skills.
