In contemporary society,students’ academic achievement has always been the focus of parents and schools,and it is also the basic threshold to enter the society.In the basic learning stage of primary school,it is a good time for students to develop their study habits.Parents will devote great energy to their children’s studies and pay attention to their academic achievements.Academic achievement in primary school can also largely determine children’s future academic development.However,under the social situation of rapid development and double pressure,many parents will be bored with their children’s upbringing,which will affect their academic performance.This study assumes that parental rearing burnout will have a negative impact on the family environment,students’ self-efficacy will be reduced,and it will have a certain negative impact on academic performance.In this study,238 pupils and their parents were randomly selected from the 3rd,4th and5 th grades of a primary school in Anshan City as subjects.Adopting the questionnaire survey method,using the three scales of Parental Burnout Questionnaire,Family Environment Scale and General Self-efficacy Scale,and counting the pupils’ mid-term scores in Chinese,mathematics and English,this paper measured the parents’ parenting burnout,family environment and children’s self-efficacy,and established a model to verify the relationship among parents’ parenting burnout,family environment,pupils’ self-efficacy and academic achievement,and their intermediary role.SPSS 23.0 was used to statistically analyze the collected data,and an intermediary model was established,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)There was a significant positive correlation between family environment and parental rearing burnout,between family environment and academic achievement,and between parental rearing burnout and academic achievement.(2)Family environment plays an intermediary role between parents’ parenting burnout and pupils’ academic achievement.(3)Family environment and self-efficacy play a chain intermediary role in parenting burnout and primary school students’ academic achievement.Therefore,in the future teaching activities,teachers can give more effective guidance to parents,parents can better adjust the family atmosphere and upbringing burnout,and improve primary school students’ academic performance from the perspective of home-school cooperation. |
