| According to statistics released by the Ministry of Education over the years,the service industry has become the main channel of employment for secondary vocational graduates,with 60.02% of those engaged in the tertiary industry.As the main force of service personnel in the tourism industry,vocational school tourism-majors graduates’ progress and employment prospects are not satisfactory,which is inevitable related to the quality of the school.As students of vocational tourism,the study of professional courses is the main way to acquire a large number of systematic scientific-cultural knowledge and practical skills.Therefore,vocational schools should constantly adjust the curriculum of tourism-related majors to cope with the rapidly changing tourism market for professionals.Based on OBE,student-centered education model and Mastery Learning Theory(MLT)of Bloom,and guided by the vocational education department’s talent training program for secondary vocational schools,this study uses literature material analysis method,questionnaire survey method,interviewing method and other research methods.Then,it analyzes the following problems by investigating the satisfaction and job ability needs of middle-level employees and the bridging of college personnel training in secondary vocational schools in Hunan Province.Problems are as follow: The curriculum orientation of tourism service majors in vocational schools is not clear,the structure is chaotic,the content of professional courses cannot meet the students’ learning needs,the implementation mechanism of curriculum is not perfect,the curriculum evaluation method is single and so on.As a result,the professional knowledge what they have learnt is not systematic enough to meet the needs of tourism enterprises,students cannot be qualified for job deployment,have difficulties in follow-up learning and other issues.Then,improving the learning effect of students,the quality of graduate training,the satisfaction of professional curriculum and enterprise satisfaction with secondary vocational school graduates,has become an urgent problem to be solved in the process of optimizing and adjusting the tourism-related majors curriculum system.In view of the above problems,this study combined with the current situation of professional construction of vocational tourism services,expounds the necessity of demand-oriented in the existing curriculum system,clarifies the research ideas and research methods,and then puts forward the optimization and construction from the two directions(employment and colleges)and four aspects(curriculum structure,content,implementation and evaluation).This research adopts the reverse design thinking,takes the study output as the guide.It combines the national requirements,tourism market demand,higher vocational and undergraduate college related majors’ demand,the graduation requirements of the school and the characteristics of the students,and clears the guiding principles,basic framework and concrete implementation steps set up by the professional curriculum system of secondary vocational tourism services.Besides,it constructs the public basic course module composed of basic and professional quality,the expansion curriculum and the social practice curriculum under the demand of quality education are composed of two types of expansion ability,professional ability and humanistic quality.It aims at promoting the construction of the curriculum system and teaching methods of secondary vocational tourism-related majors.Ultimately help the all-round,systematic and high-quality development of secondary vocational graduates,to achieve high-level education,high-quality employment. |
