At present,China is the largest manufacturing country in the world.The current transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry are in urgent need of high-quality technical and skilled personnel.Some of the traditional training modes are no longer suitable for modern skills training with poor results due to product update and technology iteration are getting faster and faster.This paper takes the assemblers in an automobile manufacturing enterprise as the object of study.According to Adult Learning Theory of Knowles,the contract teaching mode is adopted for engine assembly and adjustment training,so as to improve the training effect and meet the needs of high skilled talents in manufacturing enterprises.Contract teaching provides a teaching mode more suitable for adult learning according to the characteristics of adult learner.Firstly,literature review was used to study the current situation and theoretical basis of the research on contract learning at home and abroad.Secondly,the objects of study were investigated with a questionnaire about their learning style.Based on the result of the questionnaire,the contract teaching model for adult skill improvement training was designed in combination with Adult Learning Theory of Knowles,Learning Style Theory and the principles of information technology.It was implemented in engine assembly and adjustment skill training,comparing with the traditional teaching mode.Thirdly,the results show that the contract teaching mode is suitable for supporting adult skill learning by analyzing the application results of this teaching mode in the automobile manufacturing front-line staff training.This mode also improved the learning experience of learners.The experimental results show that it received good teaching effects for adult learners of enterprises by using the contract teaching mode to carry out the training,and it can lead the learners to autonomous learning in the process of teaching,which increases the learners’ interest in learning and makes them obtain not only the capacities to solve the problems in production site but also the training of the basic and developing skills.Furthermore,it is of great practical significance to conduct employee training,to implement the transformation of training achievements and to train skilled personnel. |
