Due to the COVID-19 pandemic,the number of TCSL teachers and volunteers working abroad has dropped sharply.Considering the needs of learners,many Confucius Institutes have carried out online teaching activities.From October 2021 to December 2021,the author,as an online volunteer teacher of Confucius Institute Barcelona,conducted online oral Chinese teaching in junior middle school of Hamelin-Laie International School for two months.Hamelin-Laie International School is one of three schools that has partnered with the Confucius Institute in Barcelona to open a Confucius Classroom.In order to gain the support of volunteer teachers in oral Chinese teaching,the Confucius Classrooms of these three schools adopted the mode of online oral Chinese cooperative teaching.In other words,online volunteer teachers cooperate with offline local teachers.Volunteer teachers are responsible for oral Chinese teaching,while local teachers are responsible for other content teaching,and students are taught in the same class.Taking the online oral cooperative teaching in junior middle school of Hamelin-Laie as an example,according to the author’s teaching practice in this school,through class video observation and teachers’ interviews,cases analysis and data analysis,this paper analyzes the online teaching mode of oral Chinese and puts forward some suggestions for teachers who may use this mode in the futureThis paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which firstly expounds the significance of this paper’s topic selection,then combs the literature from three aspects:the definition,classification and research status of cooperative teaching,and finally explains the research method and significance of this paper.The second chapter gives a brief overview of the Chinese teaching situation in the middle school of Hamelin-Laie International School from three aspects:class situation,teachers and textbooks situation and online oral cooperative teaching modeThe third chapter is the core chapter of this paper.The first two sections start from two aspects:classroom activities and classroom management.The author,using the description of nine real cases to reproduce the teaching scenes,analyzes and reflects the problems in classroom activities and classroom management The third section carries on the statistics to the concrete cooperation situation in the online teaching process and carries on the summary analysis to the statistical result.In the last section,the author makes statistics and reflections on the network problems in teaching and the ways to deal with them.Chapter four based on the analysis in chapter three,combining with the author’s own experience and the interviews with cooperative teachers,providing four suggestions for teachers who may use the same teaching mode in the future.First,overcome network distance,timely communication;Second,create a good online classroom environment;Third,establish independent management belief,eliminate dependence psychology;Fourth,pay attention to network problems and plan ahead.The fifth chapter is the final chapter of this paper.It summarizes and reviews this paper and points out the shortcomings of the research. |
