| Agricultural technology progress is the core of the development of modern agriculture,and also the key to promote the growth of agricultural economy,and plays an important role in increasing farmers’ income.The transfer of rural surplus labor not only can allocate labor resources reasonably,but also have an important impact on improving farmers’ income,reducing the income gap between urban and rural areas and promoting the coordinated development of urban and rural integration.The Yangtze River economic belt is an important economic strategic region in China,and also the main grain producing area in the Yangtze River Basin.The population and GDP are more than 40% of the whole country,which has a great impact on the overall economic level of our country.Promoting the development of the Yangtze River economic belt is an important strategy related to the overall situation of the national development,and it is of great significance to realize the goal of "two hundred years" and to realize the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Therefore,how to promote the increase of farmers’ income in the Yangtze River economic belt is related to the overall situation of the economic development of the Yangtze River economic belt.The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has made clear requirements for increasing the income of residents,and by 2020,the income of urban and rural residents will double compared with 2010.In view of this,this article is based on collating and drawing lessons from the research on the impact of labor transfer and agricultural technology progress on farmers’ income.First of all,it discusses the mechanism of labor transfer and agricultural technology progress on farmers’ income.Then,according to the actual situation,the relevant data of labor transfer,agricultural technology progress and farmers’ income in the Yangtze River Economic Belt area from 2008 to 2019 are analyzed,and the labor transfer situation and trend of various provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt area during the 12 years are obtained,and the input of agricultural technology progress And the development status,the income gap between urban and rural areas and other conclusions.Finally,using the provincial panel data of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2008 to 2019,a fixed-effect model was constructed to analyze the impact of agricultural labor transfer and agricultural technology progress on farmers’ income,and to put forward relevant policy recommendations.It is of great significance to optimize the allocation of labor force,increase farmers’ income and coordinate regional development in the Yangtze River economic belt.Research indicates:(1)Labor transfer has a significant effect on farmers’ income,and every 1% increase in labor transfer will increase the per capita disposable income of farmers by 0.213%.Judging from the data of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in the past 10 years,although labor transfers in some provinces have shown fluctuations and return,farmers’ wage income is still the main source of farmers’ income increase.(2)The advancement of agricultural technology has a significant role in promoting farmers’ income,and every 1% increase in agricultural technological advancement will lead to an increase of 0.091% of farmers’ per capita disposable income.From the data of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in the past 10 years,the total power of agricultural machinery in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is increasing year by year.The Yangtze River Economic Belt is gradually increasing in the promotion and application of agricultural technology.(3)The interaction term of labor transfer and agricultural technological progress has a significant effect on increasing farmers’ income,indicating that labor transfer has significantly enhanced the effect of agricultural technological progress on farmers’ income,or that agricultural labor transfer and agricultural technological progress have a synergistic effect on farmers’ income.Farmers’ income has a boosting effect.(4)Regarding the control variables,the level of urbanization and education input have a significant role in promoting farmers’ income,per capita investment in fixed assets has a significant inhibitory effect on farmers’ income,and the industrial structure and level of economic development have little effect on farmers’ income.Based on the research conclusions,this article puts forward the following policy recommendations: First,improve the relevant laws and regulations of migrant workers to protect their legal rights;second,promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas,and reduce the income gap between urban and rural areas;third,increase investment in rural education and improve the quality of agricultural labor The fourth is to comprehensively consider the effects of multiple factors and give full play to the policy coordination mechanism. |
