Research Innovation Efficiency Of Universities In Yangtze River Economic Zone Evaluation Study

In the current complex and changing domestic and international situation,the Yangtze River Economic Belt,with its excellent location and other factors,plays an important role in the future development of national economic and scientific strength,for which the country has made a series of important plans for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Among these important plans,the establishment and improvement of an efficient university research and innovation system is one of them.Therefore,it is especially important to evaluate the research innovation efficiency of higher education institutions in the Yangtze River Economic Zone in a timely and accurate manner and find out the problems of their research work.In view of this,this paper analyzes the current situation of scientific research innovation in universities in Yangtze River Economic Zone based on the corresponding theoretical foundation,and constructs the evaluation index system with the corresponding empirical research methods to make dynamic and static analysis on the scientific research innovation efficiency of universities in Yangtze River Economic Zone,so as to draw corresponding research conclusions and put forward targeted policy suggestions.The whole paper is divided into four parts.Firstly,the research significance of this paper is clarified with the research background and the current situation of domestic and foreign research,and the possible innovations and shortcomings of this paper are elaborated.Moreover,based on the research theme,the concepts of universities in Yangtze River Economic Zone and research innovation efficiency are defined,and the innovation theory,input-output analysis theory and regional innovation system theory are clarified as the theoretical basis of this paper.Secondly,the current situation of scientific research innovation in universities in Yangtze River Economic Zone is analyzed from two perspectives of resource input and result output to further clarify the research necessity of this paper.Thirdly,based on the principle of relevant research methods used,the evaluation research system is constructed based on the actual needs of the research,and the sources of data and related processing are clarified.Based on this,the static evaluation of university scientific research innovation efficiency,input-output projection analysis,static dynamic analysis of university scientific research innovation efficiency and total factor productivity analysis are carried out to analyze the corresponding empirical analysis of university scientific research innovation efficiency in Yangtze River Economic Zone through the perspective of combining dynamic and static,combining two-stage chain DEA method,DEA-BCC model and Malmquist index method,respectively.Finally,combined with the previous research analysis,the conclusions are as follows: firstly,the scientific research innovation efficiency of universities in provinces and cities in Yangtze River Economic Belt is generally high,secondly,the efficiency of different stages of university scientific research innovation presents different characteristics.Thirdly,the efficiency of scientific research innovation in universities in Yangtze River Economic Zone needs to be further improved.Fourthly,the differences of efficiency values among provinces and cities are more obvious.Fifth,there is still room for improvement in the production efficiency of university scientific research innovation in Yangtze River Economic Zone.This paper suggests that the structure of scientific and technological manpower,scientific research funds and scientific research projects in universities should be optimized,the guidance on the adjustment of scientific research innovation input and output in universities should be strengthened,the mechanism of technology transformation and innovation in Yangtze River Economic Belt should be improved,and regional cooperation should be strengthened and a regional university scientific research innovation cooperation network should be built.
