The purpose of this paper is to study the status of job satisfaction of industrial workers who have undergone great changes in the Contemporary Society of Social Transformation and rapid development of information technology,to compare the job satisfaction of industrial workers with different characteristics and analyze the influencing factors of job satisfaction.From their job satisfaction to conduct research to understand the current group of industrial workers.The measurement of "job satisfaction" is divided into 8 sub-items: income,job safety,working environment,working time,promotion opportunity,interpersonal relationship among colleagues,the degree of respect that others give to the job,opportunity to express opinions in the job.Factor analysis was used to calculate the job satisfaction score for each worker.The study of influencing factors adopts the framework of scenario model theory,which mainly compares and analyzes workers’ job satisfaction from individual characteristics,work status,and enterprise conditions.At the same time,supplemented by the relative perspective of process theory,the introduction of “comparison of income and expenditure ","Comparison of income with peers" variables,supplemented by content theory’s focus on emotions,introduce variables of "cognition of the enterprise","identification of the enterprise and sense of belonging".Quantitative research was carried out using 1927 questionnaires collected from 3state-owned enterprises and 6 private enterprises in the manufacturing,petroleum,and coal industries in 6 cities in Harbin,Daqing,Jixi,Qitaihe,Shenzhen,and Shanghai as sample sources.Using SPSS22.0 to describe the overall job satisfaction scores of workers,it is found that workers’ job satisfaction scores are relatively high,and overall job satisfaction is slightly higher than "general",showing a state of "relatively satisfactory".In addition,workers with positive evaluations are more positively inclined,and workers with negative evaluations mostly only make slight negative evaluations.The characteristics of the job satisfaction distribution of each sub-item shows that workers’ satisfaction with interpersonal relationships among colleagues is significantly better than other sub-items,and their satisfaction with work income is relatively low,and their satisfaction with promotion opportunities is also relatively low.The analysis of the influencing factors shows that the influencing factors of industrial workers’ job satisfaction are: gender,pension insurance,unemployment insurance,work-related injury insurance,education level,job type,labor contract,working hours,working intensity,working autonomy,cognition of the company,recognition of the company and sense of belonging.Among them,gender,job type,working intensity,recognition of the company and the sense of belonging to the company are important influencing factors of workers’ job satisfaction.Four countermeasures and suggestions are put forward: increase wages and smooth promotion channels;narrow the wage gap to match wages with workload;reduce work intensity and enhance work autonomy;establish a positive corporate image,and cultivate the sense of identity and belonging.
