The realization of education modernization is inseparable from the guidance and support of education informatization.Teachers are important disseminators of knowledge,and their level of information literacy is directly related to the effect of teaching and the development of education.As an important supplement to undergraduate education,higher vocational colleges have played an important role in training students with professional skills and improving the overall education level.This article aims to investigate and study the current information literacy situation of higher vocational teachers in Jilin Province and give suggestions for improvement.Through questionnaire survey and analysis,the research has obtained:(1)The current information literacy level of higher vocational teachers in Jilin Province is relatively good.However,among the various dimensions of teacher information literacy,the level of information ability is the highest and the level of information awareness is the lowest.(2)There are significant differences in gender in the overall level of information literacy,information awareness,information knowledge,and information ability of higher vocational teachers in Jilin Province.There are significant differences in educational backgrounds in the information ability and information ethics of teachers in higher vocational colleges in Jilin Province.There are significant differences in the information ability of teachers in higher vocational colleges in Jilin Province.There are significant differences in the information ability of teachers in higher vocational colleges in Jilin Province.There are significant differences in the information morality of teachers in higher vocational colleges in Jilin Province in terms of teaching age.There are significant differences in teaching courses in the overall information literacy,information awareness,information knowledge,and information ability of higher vocational teachers in Jilin Province.(3)At present,the frequency of information training in higher vocational colleges in Jilin Province is low.The training is mainly based on the training of online teaching platform operating skills.The training methods mostly use teacher seminars and exchanges,while emphasizing the training of teaching theoretical knowledge.(4)In terms of online teaching,teachers of higher vocational education generally believe that the quality of online teaching is lower than the original teaching model.At the same time,higher vocational teaching mainly improves the effect of online teaching by participating in some online public welfare lectures or training(not organized by the school),And the abundance of current online teaching resources is the most important factor affecting the effect of online teaching.(5)Teachers’ information literacy of Higher Vocational Colleges in Jilin Province is affected by many factors,such as teachers’ own ability,information training,online teaching experience,information platform construction,school information policy and so on.Finally,in view of the level of information literacy of Higher Vocational Teachers in Jilin Province,this study puts forward three suggestions to improve the information literacy of Higher Vocational Teachers: first,strengthen the information knowledge training of higher vocational teachers;second,improve the information platform construction;third,improve the information literacy evaluation system.
