Preschool educational environment,as a kind of "hidden curriculum",has a subtle influence on the growth and development of children.As one of the indispensable abilities in the professional ability of preschool teachers,the educational environment creation ability of preschool teachers affects the quality of the educational environment creation.This study selected 955 preschool teachers from 38 preschools in three areas of Shandong Province,including the west of Shandong Province,the middle of Shandong Province and the east of Shandong Province.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,case study and interview,this paper divides preschool teachers’ ability of creating educational environment into six dimensions,analyzes the current situation,existing problems,causes and influencing factors of preschool teachers’ ability of creating educational environment,and puts forward the corresponding promotion strategies.Through the investigation,it is found that the current situation of preschool teachers’ educational environment creation ability is above the average level,which can basically meet the needs of preschool educational environment creation.However,some preschool teachers still have some specific problems in each ability dimension: in the ability dimension of the analysis of children’s characteristics,the understanding of the creation of educational environment is one-sided;In the dimension of spatial layout planning ability,the display of wall decoration works is not flexible enough and the area can not be reasonably set;In the dimension of spatial layout planning ability,the display of wall decoration works is not flexible enough and the area can not be reasonably set;In the dimension of the ability to choose the content of the environment creation,there is a lack of diversified thinking on the prompt setting and a deep understanding of the content of the environment creation.In the capacity dimension of resource allocation and selection,the supply and demand relationship of environmental materials cannot be balanced,and the arrangement and replacement of materials after delivery cannot be taken into account.In the ability dimension of educational atmosphere creation,physical environment creation and spiritual environment creation cannot be comprehensively considered,and activities with a large number of children cannot be taken into account.In the capacity dimension of evaluation and reflection,there is a lack of in-depth analysis of environmental creation evaluation.Through two independent sample T test and single factor analysis of variance,it is shown that five factors,namely,the major and educational background of preschool teachers,the nature,grade and region of preschool,will have a significant impact on the educational environment creation ability of preschool teachers.However,the gender,age,teaching age and class of preschool teachers,as well as the urban and rural attributes of preschool have no significant influence on the educational environment creation ability of preschool teachers.In this regard,this study puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies.On the one hand,preschool teachers should improve the quality of their educational environment creation ability: To renew teachers’ concept of environmental innovation and improve the development consciousness of environmental innovation ability;Strengthen the study of professional knowledge and improve the accomplishment of their environmental innovation ability in multiple ways;Through reflection and evaluation,improve the practice and innovation ability of environment creation;Enhance communication with other teachers and strengthen cooperation with other teachers.On the other hand,create favorable conditions for the improvement of the educational environment creation ability of preschool teachers: establish a good organizational culture of preschool;To provide specific guarantee and support for the improvement of preschool teachers’ environmental creation ability;Perfecting the evaluation system of preschool teachers’ educational environment creation ability;Integrate resources,multi-party linkage to improve the ability of preschool teachers to create an educational environment.
