"What are the talents like,how to identify them,and how to use them" is the main line of talent management in the new era.The role of talents in the industry competition is becoming more and more important.In some seemingly traditional and long-term industries,the role of talents is constantly being highlighted.The global pesticide industry is highly concentrated in Europe,America and China.Due to the first-mover advantage of Europe and America,the monopoly advantage of multinational companies is obvious,and there is a certain gap between domestic pesticide companies.Due to the early start of the foreign pesticide industry and the complete intellectual property protection system,pesticide industry companies have entered a mature stage.Some major multinational pesticide companies also have their own leading technological advantages,mature product systems and perfect market channels,and are in a dominant position in China..In the past 10 years,in order to narrow the gap between the country and developed countries in the field of pesticide industry,the country has consolidated the domestic agricultural foundation and guided the merger and reorganization of enterprises.The implementation of mergers and acquisitions by domestic enterprises in response to the state’s call is also conducive to strengthening research and development capabilities,strengthening product sales,expanding scale effects and synergy,increasing market share,reducing costs,and increasing profits.After corporate mergers and acquisitions,the emphasis on talents is usually raised to a new level.After being acquired,SHDB,the research object of this article,has carried out a series of integration activities.Factors affecting performance include products,policies,the quality of the market,and sales force.In the context of serious product homogeneity and internal sales policies that can be adjusted at any time,it is relatively difficult to improve human capabilities in the process of corporate acquisition and integration.Therefore,the factor of sales personnel needs more attention from enterprises.Mergers and acquisitions are an effective strategy for enhancing organizational capabilities.The key to effective integration in the context of mergers and acquisitions lies in the identification of talents and the development of capabilities.The competency model is an effective tool for talent identification and development.Through the talent inventory tool to systematically sort out talents,and formulate effective strategies for the development of talents can effectively improve the company’s performance level.This paper focuses on the case of talent identification and ability improvement in the context of mergers and acquisitions,using competency model as the core tool,using talent inventory tools to systematically identify key talents that have a significant impact on corporate performance,and discover and propose effective ability improvement strategies.This article hopes to be able to conduct research in this area,and provide certain method support for the development of talents in the acquisition and integration of enterprises.
