Case Study Of Integrated Actions Of Social Work Involved In The International Community’s Anti-epidemic Action

At the beginning of 2020,COVID-19(Corona Virus Disease 2019)broke out suddenly.Due to its rapid spread,wide range of infections,and difficulty in prevention and control,many people had negative emotions such as anxiety,panic,anger,and helplessness.If these negative emotions are not eased in time,individuals will easily fall into a psychological crisis,causing irreversible damage to physical and mental health.In addition,although the blocking-type epidemic prevention and control policy had effectively controlled the spread of the epidemic,it also weakened people’s social support to a certain extent and exacerbated people’s crisis situation.Especially the Chinese groups stranded overseas affected by the epidemic,their plight often involves medical,policy,psychological,social and other aspects.And their needs present a development trend of complexity and diversity.Under the special background of the COVID-19,how to effectively integrate resources in social work to help service objects get rid of difficulties has become a key issue that needs to be considered when conducting practical research in social work.This article is based on the international community anti-epidemic project carried out by the China Association for Social Work Education and the Chinese Sociology and Social Welfare Research Committee in Daegu,South Korea,taking the holistic governance theory as a theoretical analysis perspective.The practice process of the integrated action carried out in Daegu area is sorted out from the two levels of organization management and service intervention,and the effect of service implementation is evaluated.Based on the above analysis,summarize the practice model of integrated action,construct the integrated intervention mechanism from four aspects:main structure,main function,service supply and phased service integration.In order to provide practical experience for social work to intervene in emergent public health events.The study found: in the international community’s anti-epidemic action,social work integrated different subjects and resources from the organization and service levels,fully responded to the needs of the Han Chinese community,give full play to the professional advantages of social work and guaranteed the service quality of social work in crisis situations.Facing complicated social problems in emergencies,social work should strengthen the localized exploration of integrated service models,strengthen the construction of emergency service system for social work,improve the professional development of social work in the field of public health.
