Experimental purpose: To study the influence of different intensity Chi Running on female college students’ body composition and shape,so as to explore whether different intensity Chi Running is helpful for improving female college students’ body composition and shape,and to explore the best exercise intensity for improving female college students’ body composition and shape.It provides more theoretical basis for the research of improving body composition and shape by exercise.Experimental methods: In this study,55 female students of non-physical education major in West China Normal University were selected and randomly divided into low-intensity group(N=18),medium-intensity group(N=18)and high-intensity group(N=19).Low-intensity group,medium-intensity group and high-intensity group were intervened by Chi Running with different intensities for 8 weeks and 3 times a week respectively.Before and after the experimental intervention,bioelectrical impedance method was used to measure the body composition and shape of the subjects in each group,including body shape index(height,weight,body mass index,waist-hip ratio)and body composition index(skeletal muscle mass,fat content,visceral fat area,basal metabolic rate).Excel data software was used to classify and count the measured data before and after the experiment,and SPSS26.0 software was used to analyze the experimental data.The data used were uniformly expressed by mean standard deviation(((?)±SD).The difference test before and after the experiment within groups was conducted by paired sample T test,and the difference test between groups was conducted by one-way analysis of variance.The experimental instruments used in this study are: height and weight measuring instrument,In Body720 body composition analyzer,treadmill,POLAR-M430 heart rate watch.Experimental results:1.After 8 weeks’ intervention of Chi Running with different intensity,it was found that low intensity,medium intensity and high intensity Chi Running had obvious effects on improving the fat content and visceral fat area of female college students.After the intervention of Chi Running with three different intensities,the fat content of the subjects decreased significantly compared with that before the intervention,showing a very significant difference(P<0.01).After the intervention of moderate and high intensity Chi Running,the visceral fat area of the subjects decreased significantly compared with that before the intervention,showing a very significant difference(P<0.01).After the intervention of low-intensity Chi Running,the visceral fat area of the subjects decreased significantly(P<0.05).The effect of moderate and high intensity Chi Running on improving visceral fat content of female college students is better than that of low intensity Chi Running.2.After 8 weeks’ intervention,it was found that high-intensity Chi Running has a good effect on improving the skeletal muscle quality of female college students(P<0.01),followed by medium-intensity Chi Running(P<0.05),while low-intensity Chi Running has no obvious effect on improving the skeletal muscle quality of female college students(P >0.05).3.After 8 weeks’ intervention of Chi Running with different intensity,it was found that high-intensity Chi Running had a good effect on improving the basal metabolic rate of female college students,and the basal metabolic rate of high-intensity subjects increased slightly after intervention,with significant difference(P<0.05).Chi Running in low-intensity and medium-intensity groups has no obvious effect on improving the basal metabolic rate of female college students.The basal metabolic rate of low-intensity and medium-intensity groups has no obvious change after intervention,and there is no significant difference(P>0.05).4.After 8 weeks’ intervention of Chi Running with different intensity,it is found that low-intensity and medium-intensity Chi Running can significantly improve the body shape of female college students.Body shape indexes: body weight,body mass index and waist-hip ratio in low and medium intensity groups were significantly lower than those before intervention(P<0.05).High-intensity Chi Running has little effect on improving female college students’ body shape.There is no obvious change in body weight,body mass index and waist-hip ratio in the high-intensity group,and there is no significant difference before and after intervention(P>0.05).Experimental conclusion:1.The experiment proves that three kinds of Chi Running with different intensities have obvious effects on improving the body composition of female college students.Among them,the effect of Chi Running with medium and high intensity is the most obvious,followed by low intensity.Chi Running exercise can effectively improve the body fat content and visceral fat area of female college students,and plays an important role in reducing excess fat and improving body fat content.2.The effect of Chi Running on improving skeletal muscle quality of female college students increases with the increase of exercise intensity.The effect of Chi Running with three different exercise intensities on improving skeletal muscle quality of female college students is high-intensity Chi Running > medium-intensity Chi Running >low-intensity Chi Running.Medium and high-intensity Chi Running have better effects on improving skeletal muscle quality and increasing lean body weight.3.To improve the basal metabolic rate of female college students through Chi Running exercise,it is necessary to achieve a certain exercise intensity.High-intensity Chi Running has an obvious effect on improving basal metabolic rate of female college students,while medium and low-intensity Chi Running has an effect on basal metabolic rate.4.Low-intensity and medium-intensity Chi Running can effectively improve the body shape of female college students,while high-intensity Chi Running has no obvious effect on improving the body shape of female college students.
