Study engagement is a kind of learning state characterized by vigor,dedication and concentration,in which positive cognition,behavior and high emotions continuously and stably interact with the learning process.Study engagement has a profound influence on teenagers’ academic performance.The more study engagement,the higher academic achievement.Study engagement is an important indicator to test students’ development and also one of the indicators to predict whether individuals can adapt to the learning society in the future.This study took junior high school students as the research object.Firstly,the quality of "Study Engagement Scale","Parent-child Affiliation Questionnaire","Academic Self-concept Scale" and "School Belonging Scale" were tested.Then,using cluster random sampling,900 students were selected from three middle schools in Nanchang City,Jiangxi Province.Descriptive analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis to explore the parent-child relationship in junior high school students,study engagement,present situation and relationship of academic self-concept and school belonging,and build a regulating intermediary model to test the parent-child relationship in junior high school students in learning into direct and indirect effects and school belonging in the adjustment.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.The four scales,Study Engagement Scale,Parent-Child Affiliation Questionnaire,Academic Self-concept Scale and School Belonging Scale,have good reliability and validity,which meet the requirements of psychometrics.2.Junior high school students’ total score of study engagement and its various dimensions,total score of academic self-concept and its various dimensions,total score of school belonging and its various dimensions are below the middle level;Parent-child relationship and its dimensions are above the average level.3.Parent-child relationship is significantly positively correlated with study engagement engagement,academic self-concept and school belonging.Parentchild relationship significantly positively predicted the study engagement and academic self-concept of junior middle school students.4.Parent-child relationship has a direct impact on study engagement,and academic self-concept has an indirect impact on study engagement.5.School belonging plays a moderating role in the effect of parent-child relationship on study engagement through academic self-concept.
