| With the expansion and promotion of Chinese teaching all over the world,all kinds of effective teaching methods have become the magic weapon that all the front-line Chinese teachers are striving for.In addition,Chinese learners have also ushered in the trend of younger age,and Total Physical Response is becoming more and more popular in the class of young learners.Taking KG2 students of Al Salam School,a public kindergarten in the United Arab Emirates as the research object,this paper presents the Total Physical Response teaching method in three teaching cases.Questionnaire survey,classroom observation,test and comparison method were adopted to analyze and test the applicability and effectiveness of Total Physical Response teaching method in children’s Chinese class in UAE.This paper is mainly composed of four parts:The "introduction" part includes the background and significance of the topic,research status,research objects and research methods.The first chapter is "overview of the theory of Total Physical Response ",including the introduction of the teaching method of Total Physical Response,characteristics,teaching steps and related theoretical basis.The second chapter is the applicability analysis of the Total Physical Response in the United Arab Emirates children’s Chinese classroom,from two aspects of theory and teaching reality.The third chapter is the author’s teaching practice in the four real theme teaching case analysis,through the case analysis summed up the advantages of the teaching method and the place need to pay attention to.The fourth chapter is the effectiveness analysis of the place,using the data provided by classroom observation method and testing method to verify and analyze the conclusion: Total Physical Response is suitable for the United Arab Emirates children’s Chinese classroom teaching.The "conclusion" part summarizes the advantages of Total Physical Response in children’s Chinese classroom,and points out the shortcomings of the paper and the direction of efforts. |
