| Total Physical Response is a kind of People-original Faction in second language acquisition,which emphasizes student-centered teaching of target language through physical action.It is widely used in English teaching for young children in China.In Chinese teaching.In Chinese teaching,Total Physical Response has been affirmed and supported to a great extent by the academic circles,but the application of Total Physical Response needs to be expanded and deepened in view of the actual teaching conditions and other factors.This paper introduces Total Physical Response,and proves the necessity and feasibility of applying Total Physical Response to Madagascar children’s Chinese teaching by analyzing the law of children’s psychological and language development and the difficulties of Chinese teaching in Madagascar.Then through the qualitative analysis of Chinese teaching in Madagascar’s two schools,and the quantitative analysis of questionnaire,the author summarizes the effect that Total Physical Response can play an active atmosphere and deepen the impression in the Chinese teaching for young children.It also points out two outstanding problems: command problems and discipline problems,and finally puts forward systemic inversion from classroom management,vocabulary,simple sentence and so on.It also points out some problems needing attention in order to help overseas Chinese teachers. |
