During the outbreak of Covid-19 epidemic in 2020,science and technology-based SMEs have demonstrated their strong vigilance against risks in face of major national emergencies, and have come to the fore as to their sustainable development considering their important position in national economy. In the social and economic system where market economy constitutes the mainstream,How to break through the technology bottleneck has become a big problem for the new incubators of small and medium-sized technology-based enterprises in order to quickly gain corporate benefits and enter the market. In the process of growth, small and medium-sized technology-based enterprises are faced with such problems as financing difficulties, imperfect talent organization structure, difficult market expansion, limited technical research level, information asymmetry, low market adaptability, and difficult enterprise transformation. How to provide incubation hotbed for them in real time has become the focus of this paper. As such, this paper will study the incubation process of science and technologybased SMEs in the university science and technology parks,on the basis of the research on the incubators in the university science and technology parks by scholars from home and abroad. In combination with the development features of science and technologybased SMEs,this paper will conduct an analysis of the existing enterprise incubation models in A university science and technology park, employing a variety of methods like literature review, field survey, questionnaires, expert interviews,to summarize the problems of the three existing incubation models and the root causes behind.Using data packet analysis, the present author arrives at the conclusion that the existing incubation success rate in A university science and technology park is not satisfactory,so is the resource utilization rate.Besides, the evaluation mechanism for the potential of incubating enterprises is not in place, leading to the phenomenon that newly-incubated companies are in actuality owned by graduates. This brings about a series of problems such as financing difficulties for newly-incubated enterprises, low matching ratio between technology updates and market demands, and delay in professional team building. All these factors render a healthy development of enterprises following their life cycle impossible.Following the law of enterprise development, this paper proposes an incubation model for science and technology-based SMEs in the university science and technology parks based on Life-Cycle Theory,to optimize the problems in the existing incubation model, set up a highly flexible incubation system in line with the cycle, improve the incubation model therein and ensure the sustainable development of enterprises. |
