Mindfulness training has a long history,has evolved,and is now more commonly used in clinical practice.Subjective happiness is an individual’s subjective evaluation of their own life and learning emotional experience.Scholars in the relevant research,often take this as an inspection index.Cognitive flexibility affects individuals’ thinking and coping styles.High school is the final stage before students enter college and adapt to new learning and life patterns,which is full of various pressures.Therefore,improving the subjective well-being of high school students through mindfulness training is of positive significance to maintaining the mental health of high school students.This study designed different studies to verify the mediating role of cognitive flexibility and the intervention effect of mindfulness training.In the first study,we analyzed the status quo of mindfulness,subjective well-being and cognitive flexibility of high school students.A total of 320 high school seniors from a middle school in Yangzhou were selected to issue the Five-Factor Mindfulness Scale,the General Well-being Scale and the Adolescent Cognitive Flexibility Scale.Through data analysis,the results show that the selected high school students’ mindfulness and cognitive flexibility are at the average level,and their subjective well-being is slightly higher than the average level.There is no difference in gender,grade,etc.,but in terms of the place of origin,students from urban areas and students from rural areas have significant differences in mindfulness,cognitive flexibility and subjective well-being.Study two analyzed the relationship among mindfulness,cognitive flexibility and subjective well-being of high school students.The results showed that individuals with higher levels of mindfulness had higher levels of cognitive flexibility and subjective wellbeing.Moreover,cognitive flexibility played a partial mediating role in the process of the impact of mindfulness on subjective well-being.In the third study,mindfulness intervention was carried out on selected subjects,and it was found that after mindfulness training,the cognitive flexibility and subjective wellbeing of the subjects increased from below the average level at the beginning to above the average level,with significant differences after statistical software analysis.This indicates that mindfulness training can enhance students’ subjective well-being to a certain extent. |
