With the aging of my country’s population structure and the institutionalization of the old-age care model,the destitute elderly,as a special group of elderly people,enjoy the support system for the destitute in the orphanage,while their basic material needs are also guaranteed.However,every destitute elderly has They are different and independent individuals.Some extremely poor elderly people have not been able to meet their individual needs after they have been admitted to the orphanage,and there is a problem of difficulty in adapting to the elderly in the orphanage.In view of the difficulties in adapting to the elderly in the welfare homes for the destitute elderly,the Nth Social Welfare Institute in CQ City,which is a local centralized support institution for the destitute elderly,was selected as the research site,and the destitute elderly living in the orphanage were taken as the research objects,and the relevant research results at home and abroad were summarized and combed.,To carry out social work to promote the adaptability of the elderly in welfare homes for the destitute elderly.Based on the corresponding investigation of the research object,the current situation of adapting to life,the problems facing them,the reasons and needs are analyzed according to the results of the investigation.Based on the theory of social support,it guides the development of case-based social work and group social work intervention services in response to the problems and needs of the extremely poor elderly who have difficulties in adapting to institutional care for the elderly,helping them establish interpersonal communication and social support networks,and cultivate their use The ability of the social support network to solve problems,improve personal adaptation to the status quo,enhance personal self-identity and sense of belonging to the orphanage,and improve the quality of life and quality of life for the elderly in the orphanage.This article discusses the application research of social work intervention in welfare homes for the extremely poor from six parts.The first part is the introduction,including the origin and significance of the research,core concepts,literature review,theoretical basis,research content and research methods;the second part It is through in-depth investigation of the research objects to analyze the living conditions,problems and influencing factors of the destitute elderly in the orphanage;the third part is based on the guidance of social support theory,to carry out case work for the destitute elderly who have difficulty adapting to institutions And group work intervention services;the fourth part is the service evaluation of social work intervention orphanages for the poor and extremely poor elderly;the fifth part is the research conclusions and reflections of this article,including research conclusions,research reflections and research recommendations.The study found that under the guidance of the theory of social support theory,for the extremely poor elderly who have difficulty adapting to the welfare home in the N social welfare home in CQ city,through the intervention services of case work and group work,help them establish effective interpersonal communication and The social support network uses personal social support network to solve the problem of adapting to the elderly in the orphanage,improving the current situation of adapting to the elderly in the orphanage,enhancing the sense of self-identity and the sense of belonging to the orphanage,and improving the quality of life and the individual’s life.Quality of life.However,this study also has certain research limitations.Firstly,the resource links of the informal support network for the destitute elderly are not comprehensive enough,and there are certain restrictions;secondly,there are still certain shortcomings in the self-worth of the destitute elderly and the construction of the sense of identity and belonging to the welfare home,and welfare is needed.The hospital,the destitute elderly,and the staff continue to work hard in the later period.
