Study On The Influence Of Different Exercise Styles On College Students’ Health-promoting Lifestyle

With the development of society,people pay more and more attention to health,and the concept of health promotion has gradually become popular.College students are the main builders of the country’s future,and their health level is concerned by all walks of life.At home and abroad,the current research on college students’ health promotion lifestyle mainly focuses on the status quo of college students’ health promotion lifestyle in different regions and related influencing factors,while there are few studies on the influence of external intervention means on college students’ health promotion lifestyle.In addition,no research has reported which exercise training method is more effective in influencing college students’ health-promoting lifestyle.On the basis of previous studies,this paper discusses the improvement effect of different exercise methods on college students’ health promoting lifestyle,and provides guidance for the formation of college students’ healthy lifestyle and the formulation of related exercise prescription.Objective: To compare the effects of different exercise styles,namely aerobic exercise and resistance exercise,on college students’ health promotion lifestyle.Methods: Thirty college students were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.They were randomly divided into 3 groups by drawing lots,with 10 people in each group: aerobic exercise group,resistance exercise group and control group.The above three groups of subjects were experimentally conducted according to the corresponding exercise intervention mode,in which the aerobic exercise group was subjected to aerobic exercise,the resistance exercise group was subjected to resistance exercise,and the control group was only subjected to maintaining a daily lifestyle without exercise intervention.Aerobic exercise program is 3 times a week,1 hour each time,lasting 8 weeks,the exercise content includes rope skipping,endurance running,aerobics,etc.,the exercise intensity control is medium.The resistance exercise program consisted of 1 hour each time,3 times a week,for 8 weeks.The exercise content included weight bearing squats,push-ups,and pull-ups.Before the intervention,the subjects’ baseline condition was measured by the Subjects’ Basic Information Questionnaire,the International Physical Activity Questionnaire and the Health Promoted Lifestyle Scale,and the subjects’ health promoted lifestyle was repeatedly measured and evaluated at the 4th week and the 8th week after the intervention.Results: After eight weeks of different exercise intervention,on the total score of health promoting lifestyle scale,highest aerobic exercise group,second resistance exercise group and control group,aerobic exercise group total score has extremely significant difference compared with control group(P < 0.01),the resistance movement group total score also has the extremely significant difference compared with control group(P < 0.01),aerobic and resistance exercise group comparison results show that the differences between the two way also significantly(P < 0.05).After the group effect test between subjects,it is found that the group effect is significant(skeη2=0.327).The result of the effect test within subjects is that the time effect and the interaction effect between time and group are significant(ske η 2=0.910,ske η2=0.415).Further analysis of the scores of each dimension of health promotion lifestyle showed that in the dimension of health responsibility,the scores of resistance exercise group were higher than that of aerobic exercise group,and the scores of control group were the lowest.The scores of resistance exercise group and aerobic exercise group were significantly different from those of control group(P<0.05).In the dimension of exercise,the score of aerobic exercise group was significantly higher than that of resistance exercise group,and the score of control group was the lowest.Compared with the control group,the scores of aerobic exercise group and resistance exercise group were significantly different(P<0.01).In the dimension of self-actualization,resistance exercise group scored higher than control group,but the difference was not significant,while aerobic exercise group scored higher than control group,and the difference was extremely significant(P<0.01).In the dimension of stress management,the scores of the aerobic exercise group were significantly higher than those of the resistance exercise group,and the score of the control group was the lowest.The scores of the aerobic exercise group and the resistance exercise group were significantly different from those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the three groups in nutrition and interpersonal relationship.Conclusions: The 8-week exercise intervention is beneficial to the health of college students to promote the improvement of life style.Different exercise styles have different effects on the improvement of college students’ health-promoting lifestyle.Compared with resistance exercise,aerobic exercise has better benefits on the improvement of self-actualization,exercise and stress management in college students’ health-promoting lifestyle.Resistance exercise improved the health responsibility dimension better than aerobic exercise.In conclusion,aerobic exercise is better than resistance exercise to improve the lifestyle of college students.It is suggested that aerobic exercise should be the main form of physical exercise for college students in the future.
