Study On The Impact Of Overseas Education In China On China’s Export Trade

As the main overseas consumption form of the international education service trade,studying abroad education in China is an important emerging industry and an important driving force in the field of foreign investment and trade in China.With the promotion of studying in China to the national strategic level,the scale of studying in China shows a trend of rapid development.At the same time,China’s export trade has also entered an important period of development in the upgrading of industrial structure.Under the background of globalization,the correct understanding and analysis of the influence of overseas education in China on China’s export trade will help to improve the quality and efficiency of China’s export trade.In this paper,literature research,the present situation analysis and empirical analysis of three kinds of research methods,respectively from the overall,distinguish students academic degree,distinguish between before and after the "area" initiative put forward three dimensions,the bidirectional fixed effects regression model to study the students education influence on China’s export trade,and puts forward the four hypothesis,a comprehensive discussion from two aspects of the scale and quality.According to the empirical results,in general,overseas education in China will significantly promote the expansion of China’s export trade,and the trade promotion effect of the students with academic degree is greater than that of the students without academic degree.When classifying product categories,the regression results show that overseas education in China plays a more significant role in promoting the export of capital goods,followed by intermediate products and consumer goods.When differentiating time periods,it is found that the influence of the total number of students studying in China before the "One Belt And One Road" initiative is less than that after the initiative is put forward.In the future,China can further promote the construction of the study abroad brand in the education cooperation for overseas students,improve the talent attraction policy,promote the "Belt and Road" regional development strategy,and develop bilateral relations,so as to promote the international talent inflow and the development and upgrading of China’s export trade.
