Employment as the foundation of people’s livelihood is an important way to maintain personal life and realize ideal values.General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the group of veterans and has repeatedly emphasized the need to do a good job in the employment of veterans.Veterans are the backbone of national defense construction and an important human resource for local social development.However,due to the special and closed nature of the military’s work and the environment,the difficulties in adapting to the military and the inadequate preparation and the social environment after the soldiers retired from service have affected them.Personal job search and career development.Support veterans to resolve current employment problems,create good conditions for veterans to integrate into society,improve employ ability,and successfully achieve employment.This is conducive to advancing the strategy of strengthening the national army,promoting national defense and army building,and providing peace of mind for active service officers and soldiers.Seeking to win is of great significance to maintaining overall political and social stability.At present,the research fields of experts and scholars on the employment placement of retired soldiers mainly focus on economics and psychology.There are very few articles on employment support for retired soldiers from the perspective of social work practice.In the context of my country’s increasing emphasis on the legitimate rights and interests of veterans and making soldiers a respected profession in society,this article selects some retired soldiers from County A in Shaanxi Province,collects and organizes relevant data and information through questionnaires and interviews,and analyzes the county’s veterans.Employment problems and specific reasons,summarized the common needs of veterans in employment,and adopted social work group work methods to design activity plans and carry out practical research,in order to provide more accurate and higher-quality employment support for retired soldiers.There are five chapters in this article.The first chapter is the introduction;the second chapter is the theoretical basis and practical basis of social work involved in the employment support of veterans;the third chapter is the analysis of the employment problems and needs of veterans in County A.By collating relevant data,it can be found that the employment problems of veterans in County A are specifically manifested as: outstanding unemployment,poor income stability,significant employment pressure,increased psychological problems,weak employment desires,and obvious job burnout.In terms of demand related to employment support,it is mainly reflected in four aspects: one is planning career goals and adjusting the employment mentality;the second is mastering basic interview and employment skills;the third is mastering communication skills and improving social adaptability;fourth is effective use Various employment support resources.The fourth chapter is the practical research of social work intervention in the employment support of retired soldiers.The main content includes the preparation of group work intervention,the specific development process of group work,the analysis of the effectiveness of group work intervention and professional reflection.The fifth chapter is the summary and countermeasure suggestions.This research aims to provide practical support for solving the employment problem of veterans,and at the same time explore new methods and paths for related problem research,and provide decision-making reference for relevant departments to establish and improve the practice of veterans’ employment support system. |
