In recent years,the bloom of Chinese higher education has caused the rapid increase of private universities,which has brought about a surge in the demand for teachers.The qualification of this job has been lowered so that a large number of young teachers are able to have the access to the private universities.Young teachers referred to in this thesis are those under the age of 40.However,due to some internal and external reasons,such as age,personal cultivation,teaching experience,environmental adaptability,university character,internal management and so on,they may face more job stressors than other college teachers of different ages.These pressures may come from both the external expectations from the public and the internal conflicts of social roles.The long-term occupational pressure will not only affect the health and stability of young teachers,but also hinder the healthy development of teaching work to a certain extent.The negative effects of occupational pressure,such as sub-health of young teachers,job burnout and low performance,have become the urgent problems to be solved in the development of teachers in private universities.I hope the job stress management of young teachers from private universities can be paid more social attention and be reduce to some extent,because the job stress will directly affect the quality of life and the working behavior of young teachers,more seriously,it will affect organizational performance and the development of higher education in the future.The occupational stress management of young teachers is a key point in this article.S private university is positioned as an application-oriented university,which shoulders the mission of cultivating and delivering composite and application-oriented talents for the society.Now S private university has 998 full-time members of staff,including 684 full-time teachers,458 of them are young teachers,accounting for66.95%.It can be seen that the overall quality of young teachers largely determines the quality of S private university.In 2021,S private university will receive the evaluation of undergraduate qualification from the Ministry of Education,and the healthy development of young teachers will directly affect the final result of the important evaluation.Based on eight years of working experience,this paper focuses the occupational stress management of young teachers through the questionnaire and depth interview,and try to analyze and identify the sources of working pressure,explore the reasons,put forward the solutions.The results of this research can help to relieve the occupational stress of young teachers from S private university and enrich the basis of the theory and practice.The conclusion is helpful to improve the young teachers’ working pressure,lower job performance and high demission of this job.Moreover,it can provide some references on stress management for other young teachers of different private universities.
