College tennis special class is an important place for training talents such as social tennis teachers and tennis coaches.Physical education in colleges and universities should pay attention to the reform and innovation of teaching and training methods,pay attention to the introduction of advanced training ideas and training means,and improve the effect of teaching and training.In order to master various tennis skills and reach the teaching level in 2-3 years in the special class of university,students in the special class of tennis need to establish standardized movement patterns and efficient movement quality.The movement screening system in functional training can be used to evaluate the movement quality of students in special classes,optimize and promote students’ movement patterns,and prevent sports injuries.China tennis association launched the tennis game test standards can be aimed at students’ tennis performance,the quality of the ball for scientific and reasonable evaluation.In the special technical teaching of tennis in colleges and universities,the functional training can be applied to the teaching and training of special students,and the functional training plan can be formulated according to the special characteristics of tennis to standardize students’ movement patterns,improve the quality of movement and improve the special skills of tennis.Based on the experimental method,32 students from the special tennis class of sanming university were randomly divided into the experimental group using functional training and the control group using traditional training.The experimental group used functional training.The first stage is to improve the basic athletic ability of the body,the second stage is to improve the general athletic ability,and the third stage is to improve the specific athletic ability.The traditional training in the control group was mainly in the form of students’ daily training.The training lasted eight weeks and the test scores were compared between the two groups.Draw the following conclusions:(1)The results of pre-test and post-test showed significant differences in the experimental group,while the results of pre-test and post-test did not show significant differences in the control group,and the results of post-test between the two groups showed extremely significant differences.Functional action screening test scores increase indicate functional training in improving the students’ body model,the error action improvement greatly,functional training in promoting students physical coordination,core stability effect is remarkable,make the power more smooth and more effective in the power chain transfer,reduce the incidence of the student sports injury in training.(2)There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>,0.05).Compared with regular training,functional training has no obvious effect on improving the speed quality of college students majoring in physical education,and whether functional training can effectively improve the speed quality remains to be further studied.(3)Functional training of the experimental group students more specification on the forehand and backhand technology movement performance,the pace of mobile shot more flexible,hit the ball higher success rate,the visible functional training can make college tennis special classes in hitting power chain transfer smoothly,the body’s stability and the ability to control better,show special functional training can improve the university tennis class accuracy and stability of the forehand and backhand shots,the whole functional training of training effect is superior to the conventional training.(4)Students have a high degree of satisfaction with functional training.The diversified methods and means of functional training can enrich the teaching and training content,change the status quo of students’ single training form and boring training content,and improve students’ enthusiasm to participate in training.
