Research purpose: Pace is the basis for badminton players to win the game. The explosive power and dynamic balance ability of lower limbs are important factors affecting the pace of badminton players. At present, compression training is rare in the research of badminton events. This article aims to observe the difference between the training effects of KAATSU training and traditional resistance training,in order to provide a reference for KAATSU training in special strength sports training. In this research, the methods of literature review, expert interview, experiment, and mathematical statistics are used to observe the impact of KAATSU Training on muscle power and dynamic balance of lower limbs. The training effects of and differences between KAATSU Training and traditional resistance training are compared to provide reference for applying KAATSU method in special strength training.Research methods: In the paper,20 second grade student badminton athletes from one normal university were chosen as the experimental subjects. They were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 10 people in each group. The two groups experienced continuous training for 8 consecutive works, every week on Tuesday,Thursday, and Saturday, and 45-60 min for each training session. The load and intensity for the experimental and control group were the same. The two groups all practiced half squat, static half squat, and complete squat, with the load intensity of50%1RM,10~12 times each set,and 4 sets in total. In the experimental group, pressure band is used to assert added pressure on the thigh at the pressure of 200-220 mm Hg;while in the control group, the resistance training was performed without added pressure.Research results:(1)Changes in indicators of lower limb muscle power :The two groups showed significant difference in the performance in standing long jump, vertical jump, and 30 m sprint, with P<0.01 for the significant difference of each assessed indicators. The results of the experimental group changed more significantly than that of the control group in terms of the performance in the standing long jump, vertical jump, and 30 m sprint.(2)Changes in indicators of dynamic balance capacity: After the experiment, the points gained by the two groups both improved to some extent;compared with the control group, the points gained by the experimental group significantly improved, with significant difference(P<0.05).After the experiment, the maximum rotation angle of both groups increased, but the difference is not significant(P>0.05).In terms of maximum rotation angle, the increase rate of experimental group is higher than that of the control group. After the experiment, the average angular rotation rate of the subjects of both groups showed certain improvement;and there was no significant difference in the average angular rotation rate between the experimental and control groups(P>0.05).The increase rate of the experiment group is higher than that of the control group.(3)Changes in indicators of special badminton footwork: The test results of forward and backward straight-run of both groups after the experiment showed certain increase, and the difference is significant(P<0.05),and the performance of the experimental group was distinctively better than that of the control group. The test results of side-to-side lateral run of both groups after the experiment showed certain increase, and the difference is significant(P<0.05),and the performance of the experimental group was distinctively better than that of the control group.Compared with before the experiment, the test results of low gravity center four corners footwork of both groups after the experiment showed certain increase, and the difference is significant(P<0.05),and the performance of the experimental group was distinctively better than that of the control group.Research conclusion :(1)Compression training is better than traditional resistance training in improving the explosive power of the lower limbs of badminton students.(2)Compression training can improve the dynamic balance ability of badminton students, and its mechanism of action needs further research.(3)The KAATSU training group is better than the traditional strength group in improving the pace ability.
