Abstract/Summary:
Text is the carrier of knowledge,children’s future learning should be based on the premise of literacy.Even before formal literacy is taught,pre-school children learn some words naturally from their daily environment and have some understanding of them.This early acquisition and understanding of words is called "pre-literacy".It is an important part of early literacy and a development process from pre-literacy to literacy.For preschool children,"pre-literacy" experience is necessary.Appropriate pre-literacy activities can promote children’s intellectual development,cultivate children’s attention and observation ability,improve children’s language level,let children gradually like to learn Chinese characters,establish learning confidence,and lay a solid foundation for children’s future learning.Etymological literacy is an effective way of literacy for preschool children.It is characterized by the use of a variety of ways to trace the etymological origins of Chinese characters,so that children can understand Chinese characters and the culture behind them on the basis of their understanding of the origin of Chinese characters,so as to master the meaning,pronunciation and application of Chinese characters and form Chinese thinking.Therefore,this study aims to explore how to develop pre-kindergarten literacy activities by using the etymological literacy method.This research mainly explores how to apply the alphabet in pre-literacy activities from five aspects: the problems encountered in pre-literacy activities in kindergartens,the advantages of the alphabet alphabet,the conception of the research and the design of the action plan,the implementation and reflection of the two action studies,and the conclusion and reflection of the research.Through the study,the conclusion is drawn in the aspects of familiar with the ancient Chinese characters,the relevance of knowledge and review,and the further thinking and understanding of the teaching content and educational strategies.
