Since 2004,based on the "boarding project" of the Ministry of education,boarding primary and secondary schools have emerged in central and Western China.Boarding students are far away from their families and familiar living environment,and enter the closed dormitory life.For a long time,they lack the care,guidance and education of family emotion.Most boarding students have different degrees of school maladjustment,and their mental health level is difficult to be guaranteed.Among many maladjustment problems,students’ interpersonal problems have an important impact on students’ personality shaping and personal growth and development.The object of this paper is the host students in H primary school.Through long-term observation and interviews,we have learned that there are many problems in interpersonal communication among boarding students,which mainly show that they are unstable in emotion,lack of correct methods,unclear language expression,even accompanied by loneliness and autistic tendency,and can not correctly deal with the contradictions with people communication.Based on the problems that boarding students have in interpersonal communication,this paper selects12 typical students in H primary school.Starting from improving their interpersonal communication ability,the paper uses group work method to intervene,from improving the language and non-verbal communication ability of boarding students,improving students’ communication behavior,letting students learn to control their emotions Learn to design seven section group activities in dealing with interpersonal conflicts independently.During the implementation of group activities,observe and record the changes of the group members,adjust the activity plan timely,and evaluate the changes from the aspects of team members,social workers and other relevant subjects after the group is over.Through the analysis of the effectiveness of the intervention,we can draw the following conclusions: group work intervention boarding primary school students’ interpersonal skills have a certain effect;It is necessary for group work to be involved in the interpersonal skills of primary school boarding students.Although the group work intervention has some effect,it is still difficult to guarantee the persistence of the intervention effect.This paper reflects on this in many aspects,and puts forward the following suggestions: social workers should improve their professional quality and ability;Clear their own roles and responsibilities;Balance the personality and common problems of team members;Learn to unite all forces to enhance the effectiveness of practical intervention.
