With the rapid development of information technology,multimedia has become more deeply integrated into our lives and learning,reshaping the behavior of daily life,and triggering profound changes in the field of education.The increasing knowledge system has put forward more modern and efficient teaching requirements for us.It is mentioned in the mathematics curriculum standard of the compulsory education stage that teachers should play a leading role,balance the relationship between teaching and self-study,and cultivate students’ awareness of self-thinking and autonomous exploration.However,in our country,especially in the large number of rural junior high schools,under the pressure of teaching concepts,teaching tasks,entrance examinations,etc.,most mathematics courses still adopt traditional teaching style teaching.This teaching method is contrary to modern teaching concepts and is limited.In the classroom time,a lot of time is used for teachers to teach basic knowledge,sample questions,etc.,and students do not have time to explore the process of solving mathematical problems on their own.Therefore,a long-term classroom with teachers as the main body is not conducive to the development of students’ independent learning and mathematical problem-solving ability.Moreover,in the mathematics classroom,the long-term use of outdated teaching methods has led to a decrease in students’ interest in learning,a decline in learning efficiency,and various problems are becoming more and more serious.With the ever-changing information technology and the innovation of educational concepts,the flipped classroom provides a new way of thinking for mathematics teaching in rural junior high schools.Therefore,this research uses the more mature Onion Academy software to apply the flipped classroom to the rural junior high school mathematics teaching process,to improve the student’s dominant position in classroom learning,and to cultivate the students’ ability to learn,think,and solve problems actively.To achieve the purpose of improving students’ mathematics performance.This article will adopt literature research,action research,investigation research and other research methods to understand the research status of flipped classrooms,the design of teaching links and other related content based on the existing literature,and master the connotation,external performance,and external performance of independent learning and mathematical problem solving.Training methods and evaluation methods,etc.Through theoretical knowledge learning,combined with the actual situation of local students,a set of flipped classroom teaching design is developed mainly for cultivating students’ independent learning and mathematical problem-solving abilities.After that,the author carried out two rounds of iteration based on this plan and specific teaching content.After the first round of research was completed,the teaching design was refined and improved according to the teaching situation,and then the second round of action research was carried out.In the process of research,questionnaires were used to conduct pre-test and post-test on students’ autonomous learning ability.Monthly test was arranged to observe changes in students’ performance and math problem-solving ability.At the end,some students were interviewed to understand students’ teaching skills.Changes in learning attitudes and interests in activities.Through this research,it is found that the mathematics teaching design based on flipped classrooms has improved the problems in rural junior middle school mathematics teaching and stimulated students’ interest in mathematics subjects.The average grades of the whole class in the four monthly exams have gradually increased,and the scores of questionnaires and application questions have been gradually improved.It’s also improved from the original.Therefore,the realization of the flipped classroom teaching mode in rural junior middle school mathematics teaching is not only conducive to improving students’ mathematics performance,but also conducive to cultivating students’ autonomous learning ability and mathematical problem-solving ability.
