The development of students' self-monitoring ability can stimulate the greatest extent of students' potential to solve problem.Mathematics is the science of studying the relation of quantity and the form of space in reality,with a high degree of abstraction.But in specific mathematics learning activities,students can only imitate textbooks,encode,process and transform existing materials,having no way to internalize mathematical materials,and understand mathematical thinking methods in a real sense.On the one hand,studying the development of self monitoring ability in mathematics activities,analyzing from the theory of mathematical cognition,and grasping the deep essence of mathematical problem solving,are helpful for us to grasp students' mathematics learning dynamically.On the other hand,the basic mathematics education has a special position in the whole stage of the students' education.With the introduction of the high school core literacy,the core literacy requirements of junior and primary schools are also gradually in the process of research and revision.The research on the development of the self-monitoring ability of the junior high school students is beneficial to the theory of core literacy.This research takes the survey method mainly,using stratified sampling investigation of Xiangyang city in Hubei Province four urban junior middle school second grade students,understand the status quo and characteristics of self monitoring ability development to solve the problems of junior high school students in the development,summarized the influence of self-monitoring ability motivation factors.Guided by self-monitoring strategy,self-monitoring training was carried out by experimental method,and the effect of self monitoring training was affirmed through the gap between the experimental class and the control class in mathematics academic achievement,so as to provide suggestions for the development of self-monitoring ability in mathematical problem solving.The main conclusions of this study are:(1)The self-monitoring ability of junior middle school students is at medium level.(2)the external environmental factors ofschool education have a significant impact on the development of self-monitoring ability.Problem solving motivation has a significant positive correlation with the development of self-monitoring ability.(3)The stronger the problem solving motivation is,the better the students' self planning level,self test and feedback consciousness,self regulation and management behavior will be.(4)internal motivation attribution can effectively explain the development of internal motivation and self-monitoring ability.(5)Self-monitoring training plays a positive role in improving students' academic performance.Through self-monitoring training,students' self-planning level and logical reasoning ability have been promoted.So,In the promotion of self monitoring ability development strategy proposed in the following five points:(1)To ensure that independent planning students in problem solving;(2)Emphasizes the students' self inspection and reflection in the process of solving problems;(3)To strengthen the thinking method of students to solve problems,promote the popularization and Application of mathematics thinking method to solve the students;(4)The level of motivation;(5)To strengthen the mathematical communication,insist on self monitoring training.Self-monitoring is a sign of maturity of human intelligence.It is a necessary condition for individuals to solve problems,interact with each other and adapt to society.It is also a guarantee for individual self development,self actualization and self perfection.
